When Others Won’t, We’re Still Fighting!

We at Move America Forward have watched with growing alarm as Washington plays politics with our military.  General McChrystal made a mistake by criticizing the lack of leadership from President Obama. McChyrstal is a four star general, graduated from West Point and knows exactly what he needs to achieve success in combat.

Our military leaders are growing increasingly frustrated because they are not being listened to. While they are not at liberty to speak out, WE CAN! We’re taking to the airwaves to fight back against liberal politicians who don’t seem to want to win the war in Afghanistan. To do this we need to raise $35,000 by Tuesday at 4 PM to pay for the production of a TV spot and buy ad time on Fox News.

Please help us send the message that the American people are sick and tired of political games – now is the time for wisdom and leadership! Together we can do this.  Our troops deserve to know we’re still fighting for them!


Politicians like Reid, Pelosi, and Obama seem to have other priorities.  While the war in Afghanistan rages, they seem more concerned about relaxing.  Like General McChrystal’s staff said, President Obama appears uninformed and “didn’t seem very engaged.”

This behavior is totally unacceptable, and that is why we have decided to fight back! Our Commander in Chief needs to get engaged, and focused on the missions before more lives are sacrificed unnecessarily.

Remember, America’s sons and daughters are on the frontlines every day, fighting for us all. They can defend us from enemies abroad, but they can’t fight back against politicians who refuse to listen to military leaders and give them the support they need.

If we don’t fight back now, who will?  We have got to speak out on behalf of the US military, and show that the American people still stand with our soldiers.

Please help us as we produce a TV ad calling on Washington to get engaged and fully support our military. The ad will air on Fox News on July 1 in conjunction with and raise awareness for our 3rd annual Troopathon – a star studded event that helps send much needed supplies to the soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan.

We have to step up now.
