Security of the US coastline hangs in the balance from the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico
As we are now in Day 70+ of the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, the gusher is showing no real signs of abating. The relief wells are on target to be ready by August, but that is over a month from now, and what if this solution does not work?
Back to square one, depending on BP technology to cap a well they cannot seem to cap. Many articles have been written on the most likely solution to the problem, which is also the most extreme and possibly most risky. That is to set off a bomb...
