Woe Was Us!

Want to piss me off? Then moan about how you breaking a reasonable law puts you at risk of being held accountable for doing so. Illegal aliens tend to do this regularly as do their supporters who come up with every excuse under the sun as to why illegal aliens, criminals by definition, are being harmed by common sense immigration laws and their enforcement.

With Arizona passing a law that enables law enforcement officials in the state to actually do something about illegal aliens the typical wails of discontent are being heard from people, mostly Hispanics even though illegal aliens come in all shapes, sizes, colors and nationalities, who are too inconvenienced to respect America’s sovereignty. And as usual we have the press running around and finding illegal aliens to interview and aiding and abetting them by not reporting them to law enforcement.

Like this report from Reuters where the reporter found Samuel Roldan, a Guatemalan illegal fretting over how to further hide his illegal status.

With Arizona’s crackdown on illegal immigrants looming, Guatemalan Samuel Roldan is swapping the family’s battered Chevy Suburban, which he feels marks them out as low-income migrants, for a smarter, more corporate-looking Nissan.

“When you have an old car (covered) with stickers for a Spanish-language radio station … it’s only logical that they will think you are Hispanic and you don’t have papers,” Roldan said.

Roldan is among an estimated 460,000 illegal immigrants in the Mexico border state carefully weighing their options on Monday, three days after Arizona Governor Jan Brewer signed the United States’ toughest immigration measure into law.

Boy, it never ceases to amaze me how easily the press finds these people while our government cannot. It never ceases to amaze me either how the press just lets them wander off into the sunset either.

The good news is that the law seems to be having some effect just by putting fear into those who are breaking United States immigration laws.

“What is a father to do if, in 90 days, they can be stopped by any police officer and questioned … when their family is at home and their kids in school?” said Elias Bermudez, the founder of Phoenix nonprofit Immigrants Without Borders.

Uh, perhaps go back to your home country and apply for legal entry into the United States? I know, crazy idea right?

I know that countries south of border really suck. Mexico is a hell hole as are many others that have lived under some form of socialism for decades with little true legitimate governance and respect for basic inalienable rights. I understand that many people from those countries want to come to America. I also understand that there are only so many slots available. But those are the breaks and those are the rules.

Maybe instead of hoping the border in the middle of the night and then whining and complaining when people actually threaten to enforce our laws you should make your home countries better? I know, another radical idea! But maybe if you would work as hard reforming your own counties (and I know that a lot of times they are run by tyrants with guns who don’t like people dissenting from their laws) as you do trying to live in this country illegally you might be able to make some progress.

It really is not that difficult of a concept. Yeah, it may be hard work but then again all I hear are people telling me how hard of workers you illegals are. So prove it. Make your own countries into something to be proud of if you are unable to come here to the United States legally.
