RV Parks Sold Out as “Showdown in Searchlight” Nears
*Hundreds of Motorhomes/Trailers Expected in Searchlight, NV
for March 27th Event Against Harry Reid
The Tea Party Express (website: www.TeaPartyExpress.org) kickoff event for our third national tour continues to grow in leaps and bounds.
For weeks a team from the Tea Party Express reached out to supporters in the RV community to spread the word: Come to Searchlight, NV on March 27th for the giant tea party in Harry Reid’s hometown – it’s time to send him home for an early retirement!
And the response was overwhelmingly positive.
So much so that the RV parks and campgrounds in the surrounding area have now sold out for March 26th & 27th. Campgrounds are offering up “dry camping” with no services to meet the demand. Now the Tea Party Express is directing supporters with RVs to seek out any availability remaining at RV parks and campgrounds in the greater Las Vegas metro region – which is approximately one-hour away.
The Tea Party Express’s Tiffiny Ruegner even set up the Facebook group, RV’ers for Freedom, to rally those retirees and RV enthusiasts to get involved in taking our country back. (Website: http://www.facebook.com/RVersforFreedom )
“So many of us at the Tea Party Express have grown up camping and traveling across this great nation in our family’s motorhomes, so we know how beautiful the desert Southwest is. It occurred to us that a lot of retirees and snowbirds are fiscally conservative constitutionalists who are disgusted by the out-of-control growth in the size and power of the federal government.
“These folks can come enjoy a beautiful vacation in the southern Nevada desert near the breathtaking Lake Mead, and at the same time help take their country back from the big government politicians who keep trying to shove their tax-spend-bailout nonsense down our throats.
“We have been contacted by people from all across the country who are coming to Searchlight in their motorhomes and trailers. You will literally see hundreds of RVs in Searchlight on March 27th, and we’ve got plenty of space at the rally location for you to park your rig. So RV’ers, come join us for the giant tea party with Sarah Palin in Searchlight on March 27th!”
