Facts That Need to be Dealt With
David L Lamon
1. If we had term limits on the Courts, House and Senate it would serve to put all representatives of government on equal footing by stopping the threats of not fund during campaigns or threaten not to allow a bill to be reviewed in the various committees for consideration or one judge to usurp authority over another. It would help to stop the threats defeating a candidate for not towing the line of the party. Many times good people go to Washington with the serious intention of true representation of their constituents only to learn the above facts. It would also abolish the lush retirement programs and benefits plus require all elected to receive only those benefits the ordinary citizen receives and nothing more to include healthcare benefits. In other words, there would be no more Ivory Towers. It would have the effect of limiting special interest money from buying votes from elected representatives that serve selfish interest and not for the good of all America and this would demand the 10th amendment concerning state’s rights be strictly adhered to. Although diverse as a nation or no one shoe fits all, it would be up to the various states to fill the specific needs of its people without forcing the citizenry of other states to pay for such things as homosexual rights to include gay marriage that has proven to be the greatest spreader of the AIDS disease all Americans are forced to pay for treatment as a result of their abominable as God calls it sexual lifestyle and teaching for acceptance of the same in the public school system or pay for other things some states may abhor nor benefit from.
2. If all judgeships were forced to be elected and term limits applied it would put these judges on notice they better strictly interpret the constitution and quit legislating from the bench. Many judges today know they can’t win races for office because of their way out in left-field positions so they get judgeships and use it to legislate or make law as you go from the bench, which is unconstitutional. All 50 states should have the provision of recall of the elected with a fair and balanced system that requires a majority of the citizens of a given state’s approval for removal to include the courts.
3. If we passed laws that prohibit organizations such as the ACLU from receiving we the people’s money to fight court cases that support their communist agenda it would limit their ability to circumvent or overthrow the constitution. These same laws would prohibit any funding of any entity that does not serve the interest of all Americans in an equitable and just way.
4. If we strictly follow the constitutional guidelines as it concerns immigration we would not have the anchor baby provision the far left inserted in the law that allows for children of illegal immigrants citizenship when their parents are still illegally in the country and no person entering the United States illegally would be afforded any rights that lawful citizens enjoy. Businesses that hire illegal aliens would be severely economically punished and if they repeat the violation would be shut down forever and not allowed to again operate under any other guise or entity. Whether we like or not the fact remains this current policy severely undermines the security of our great nation.
5. As an addendum to current law: Illegal aliens that obtain through theft an illegal identity or steal a social security number from a citizen would be given a life sentence or face deportation with the understanding if they come back into the country illegally they can be killed on the spot and/or face the death penalty. We face a time in our country when many terrorist organizations both local and foreign seek to destroy America so with such extreme measures it is required that extreme solutions be implemented for the security of the United States and its citizens. This security is also threatened economically because of the benefits these that have entered illegally receive plus the drain on already scarce resources.
6. Foreign Policy should be returned to its original constitutional intent of being strictly limited to trade relations with the various countries of the world and America must stop be the world’s policemen with troops in over 180 countries. this policy alone is eating the heart out of both spiritual and physical resources. Only in extreme cases where a friendly nation’s freedom are being threatened should consideration be given and only if asked to intervene to preserve that nation’s people’s freedom. Allowance of the United Nations as we have all seen has for many years gained such power that it feels it has jurisdiction over the any nation’s constitutional laws so it should abolished or severely limited to helping organize relief aid in cases of natural or man-made disasters limited only to war. Currently in our own court systems to include our last court of decision the Supreme Court, many judges and it growing by the day feel they must take international law into consideration in deciding court cases. This is unconstitutional and is strictly forbidden by the constitution.
7. Education of our nation’s youth must be returned to its original purpose. We have reached a point in our history that the constitution must be required to be taught in the public school system as it was originally written. The true history of the nation must be restored in the classroom. Education of our children must be restructured to invoke thought. Education must be returned to its original purpose of exploration of said facts. In other words, it should taught as though nothing is settled but requires scientific exploration in concert with common sense principles. Education is a science within itself therefore nothing should be said to be a finality of any given subject. Only one fact is certain, it must be re-emphasized America was founded on Christian principles as recorded documentation of the founding fathers reveal and that America is a Christian nation since even today over 80% of the population concurs with this fact.
Note: As with any situation, when things go astray of the intended purposes a return to basics is required to examine the precedents that have been established and changed back to its original form if necessary when it is found to have been taken out of context such as the separation of church and state misinterpretation. For many years America has gone from one extreme element to the other politically speaking and in each case the constitution has been altered to favor one or the other extreme positions (Democrat liberal or Republican conservative) so it is necessary to schedule periodic re-examination the law provided by the constitution to keep its original intent intact. To avoid distortion of this judicial review, the defining finality of the review will use the constitution itself, federalist papers as set forth by the founding fathers and a total and complete review of their aggregated statements and agreements before anything was approved through the voting process. Many courts today will not allow precedent to enter their decision making process and this is why the constitution is being trampled upon as though it is a non-factor today witness the current congress and even the recent bold statement by a congressman of the far-left Black Caucus that nothing we do is done according to the dictates of the constitution. Put another way, these elected have disregarded their oath of office to uphold the constitution and make the law be what they want it to be instead of following the prescribed mandates of the constitution in applying the law of the land.
Since the constitution has been relegated as insignificant as per the current president and congress these suggestions should be given consideration and there are many other things that could be added but I believe these above would be a good starting point. Although unpopular with many, the rescinding of the laws that created the Federal Reserve, Social Security Act, Medicare and Medicaid which was created in unconstitutional fashion because it circumvented the prescribed method of re-writing specific constitutional law using constitutional convention to change the constitution. The original intent was to keep the federal government from overreaching its power over the people and states. The only mandates constitutionally allowed requires the federal government pay for the mandates. It was written this way to give pause to any decision made at the federal level and requires the treasury have the funds for any given mandate. This in effect puts limits on what the federal government can mandate but as we have seen many times this is being ignored at the federal level. If we are all honest with ourselves we can now see what allowing the process that has been used how it has opened Pandora’s box of an almost unlimited means to accomplish political goals has done to America. The constitution as it was written strictly forbids or allows for any given political agenda to rear its ugly head. The overall effect of the constitution was written with the wisdom that no matter what one’s political leanings the underlying fact that all men are born equal and free remains the mainstay.
A Continual Review is in Order
Some say this is unrealistic at this point and time in our history but I say if we don’t address these issues there will be no freedom loving Republic in the near future. The real question is do we value our freedom knowing much suffering will have to take place and for many years in order to restore us to our former selves over handouts from the federal government and it is really as simple as answering this question. I ask you to consider this fact, is it not true when individuals began to ask government to do things for them, rather than merely to secure rights and property, they began asking government to violate others rights and property for their benefit? Hasn’t it been proven over and over the erosion of our freedoms has come full circle with the experience that when the state becomes the violator of liberty and property rather than its guarantor; it debases respect for all law. Or we not now the most lawless people in our nation’s history? People in society develop an increasing disrespect and disregard for what the law demands. They view the law as the agent for immorality in the form of legalized plunder for the benefit of some at the expense of others, and this same disrespect and disregard sooner or later starts to creep into dealings between individuals (trickle-down theory). Society verges on the brink of lawlessness. Hasn’t experience taught us that a government that is anxious to give alms to as many people as possible is even more anxious to commandeer their earnings hence the current president’s redistribution of wealth philosophy, which follows the doctrine set by the socialist nations of today that has lead directly to oppressive government control of its citizens and has had the effect of relinquishing the creative genius or incentive to excel in technology that leads to the growing demands of an ever increasing population. Isn’t it a fact when politicians find that they can distribute money in order to buy votes and perpetuate themselves in power the precedent for corruption is established?
If we that have had the benefit to examine history’s lessons about why other democracies have failed can’t see the wisdom of what was put forth in our constitution with the inspiration by none other than God himself we really don’t deserve the blessings God has given us for these many years over and above any other nation in the history of the world. The following should have been taken into consideration before we allowed our constitution to be circumvented by evil men and seducers. If we and I mean the Christians of America had stood fast on our founding principles we would never ever have allowed such evil men as Barak Hussein Obama come to power and the current Marxist socialist House and Senate. Below is the example of a continual cycle of falling nations that could have been avoided by America if only we and the ministry or churches had stayed involved in the political process as mandated by the bible. As founding father John Adams said, “Our Constitution is designed only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for any other.” Adams went further, declaring, “So great is my veneration of the Bible that the earlier my children begin to read it, the more confident will be my hope that they will prove useful citizens of their country and respectful members of society.”
In a study done by Dixie Lee Ray, he noted that throughout the history of great democratic nations, they endured about 200 years before their fall from power and subsequent disintegration. In every case there appears to be a clear-cut sequence of stages:
From bondage to spiritual faith.
From faith to great courage.
From courage to liberty.
From liberty to abundance.
From abundance to complacency.
From complacency to selfishness.
From selfishness to apathy.
From apathy to dependency.
And from dependency back again into bondage.
Do you see the United States somewhere in this sequence? Has our great country been so compromised and corrupted that we’re now willing to march in lock step to our doom in the footsteps of other fallen nations? A British historian Alexander Tyler once said, “ A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government; they will only exist until the people find that they can vote money for themselves from the treasury and until the politicians find that they can distribute that money in order to buy votes and perpetuate themselves in power. Hence, democracies always collapse over weak fiscal policy to be followed by a dictatorship.
A country which leads the world in homosexuality, promiscuity, pornography, divorce, abortion, violent crime, drug usage, alcoholism, and child abuse: a country which embraces its enemies (China through trade) while turning its back on its friends (Taiwan); and a country which turns its back on its spiritual, Christ-centered heritage while believing itself to still be the greatest – is ready for a major fall, says Don McAlvany. It happened to Rome, Babylon, Persia, Assyria, Greece, and now America is on the verge of allowing it to happen. As the song says, “It can happen to you”.
Conclusion
If I was in elected office these are the things I would demand be given consideration and would hope all would aspire to correct the wrongs in our great country using this at least as a partial guide. The words collective is commonplace today since Obama has been elected president but as close as I could possibly come to agreement on the use of this word would be to provide for the overall security and prosperity of all people of this nation through non-intrusive means for the good of the whole country with the assurance all people will be given equal justice and opportunity under the law according to their available means stating explicitly not to include outside special interest monies from corporations or any entity that does not benefit all of America equally but limited only to individuals within an organization and set by specific limitations on the amount of money to acquire prosperity or position for themselves or their family.

But FIRST, we must create a groundswell, as follows:
A Congress of career politicians will NEVER allow us to constitutionally term limit them by an amendment. But… WE CAN IMPOSE term limits on them in Congressional elections (‘2010, 2012, 2014……):
1. Never reelect your Congressman or Senator.
2. Always vote, but only for the strongest challenger , regardless of party .
If Congress has not passed a term limits bill by 2014, repeat this in 2016, 2018….
Our only intelligent choice is to NEVER REELECT anyone in Congress!
The only infallible, unstoppable, guaranteed way to get a truly new Congress, AND a new politics, is NEVER REELECT ANY INCUMBENT! DO IT EVERY ELECTION until term limits is ratified. In other words, don’t let anyone serve more than one term until Congress passes a term limits bill!
NEVER REELECT ANYONE IN CONGRESS. DO IT EVERY ELECTION! … until we ratify term limits.
Nelson, I don’t think you have thought through how utterly idioitic your proposal is.
First you say, “never reelect your Congressman or Senator.” Then you say, “Always vote, but only for the strongest challenger , regardless of party.”
Ok,so let’s look at reality for a second. You have Congressman John Smith and he is pretty good. You disagree with him on one or two issues but at least he can support his possitions with valid arguments. By your plan you cannot vote for him. In the next election he has three challengers. None of them are anywhere near as good as him and some of them are down right socialists. So by your plan you now must elect an inferior candidate and Congressman B is elected. Next election you cannot vote for Congressman B who you disagree with on three or four issues and his ability to make arguements supporting his positions are shotty and haphazard at best. He has two challengers. Both of them are socialists. Now, by your plan you have to vote for the “strongest challenger,” even though in reality there is not one. But you are forcing your hand. Now you must vote for a socialist.
See how this goes very bad very fast? Probably not. That’s ok though, everyone else reading this will.
The fact is term limits do not solve the problem of a population that is not desirous of liberty and values their personal liberties. Institute term limits in such a society and you will just get a quicker succession of bad politicians who will pass the same bad laws. But people who have hitched their horses to the term limits argument are often too blind to see it.
