Bachmann: Pelosi has ‘eternity’ to get votes

Rep. Michele Bachmann, Minnesota Republican, said Thursday that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is positioned to get enough votes to pass health care reform by Sunday. "That's an eternity for her to turn the screws, put the hammer down for another 10 votes," she said on The Washington Times' "America's Morning News" radio show. Mrs. Bachmann said Mrs. Pelosi, other leaders of the Democrat-controlled Congress and President Obama, who initiated the reform, also have used a sugar-and-spice approach to getting the minimum 216 House votes.
