Obama vows to listen to GOP leaders

President Obama said Tuesday before meeting with bipartisan leaders of the House and Senate about the economy and jobs that he plans to "spend some time just listening." The president recently has reached out to Republicans leaders, saying both parties must come together to solve the country's problems, including high unemployment and the rising cost of health care. Mr. Obama said the meeting should "be in the spirit of keeping in mind what's best for the American people." Critics say the president has to work more closely with Republican leaders since the Democrats lost their 60-vote, filibuster-proof Senate majority. Massachusetts ...
