Facing Realities on Abortion and Climate
Gene Lalor | February 16, 2010
Let’s face it, reality often sucks and fantasy can be far more comfortable. Then, too, there is some painful solace in reality and nothing but long range hurt in disturbed fantasies.
Two instances of disturbed fantasies confronted by painful realities:
FANTASY: “If we want to reduce the number of abortions and unintended pregnancies, we need to work as a community to make sure we get quality, affordable health care services to as many women and men as possible.”
REALITIES: Spoken by a concerned citizen interested in reducing the number of abortions in America? Not quite, just the opposite. Those are the words of Leola Reis, a spokeswoman for Planned Parenthood of Georgia who is shocked, I tell you, at Georgia billboards
“using messages of fear and shame to target women of color:” http://bit.ly/cnpmDh
And what are those messages of fear and shame? In brief, they are messages advising women in the Peach Tree State of the truth that abortion kills pre-born lives and, yes, those messages target “women of color” and with good reason: They abort at triple the rate of white women.
And what is Planned Parenthood? Simply the organization that commits more abortions by far than any other abortionists in the country, makes billions doing it, and is subsidized by the American taxpayer.
What else is Planned Parenthood? They deny this but it was founded by Margaret Sanger, an early twentieth century eugenicist and predecessor of Hitler and Mengele who sought ”racial purification” of the white race by wiping out both men and women of color: http://bit.ly/kaXQO
FANTASY: Planet Earth is warming.
REALITIES: That fantasy, that vile, pernicious, fiction, is so wrong on so many levels it’s hardly worth the effort of typing those four words.
The truth will out and after decades of lies compounded by greater lies to cover earlier lies, the truth about global warming, climate change, global cooling is finally being outed big time.
The outing began with climategate last November, intensified with the farcical climate conference in Copenhagen in December, and has hit crescendo after crescendo in the last months as the compounded lies of climate “scientists” have been exposed for what they are: self-serving, exploitative United Nations-sponsored prevarications.
Professor Phil Jones, who is still director of the East Anglia Climate Research Unit at the epicenter of climategate, became suicidal after that exposure. He has regained his composurewell enough to sound a retreat on anthropogenic global climate change.
Britain’s Dr. Phil now says, “Umm, excuse me, well, lemme see now.”
Actually, he’s ”admitting that there is little difference between global warming rates in the Nineties and in two previous periods since 1860 and accepting that from 1995 to now there has been no statistically significant warming.
“He also leaves open the possibility, long resisted by climate change activists, that the ‘Medieval Warm Period’ from 800 to 1300 AD, and thought by many experts to be warmer than the present period, could have encompassed the entire globe:” http://bit.ly/bNkQQB
That would be professor-speak for, “We were wrong.” That report is from Britain’s Daily Mail. Don’t expect to see it on America’s MSM.
Just imagine if Americans were told the truth about abortion and climate change. We would preserve millions of lives and save trillions of dollars by not chasing after lies and figments.
