We Have Met the Enemy

While it is true the atheist driven by evil spirits are runamuck in American society today we have to accept our responsibility for this also. It is this generation’s non-response of allowing people or “wickedness in high places” [Eph 6:12] to put into law the new explanation of separation of church and state that has ushered in this resentment of Christianity. In addition to this the many delusions put forth by the various forms of so-called Christianity that paved the way for evil men and seducers, which continually wax worse and worse [2 Tim 3:13] by the day that are anti-Christian men such as Barak Hussein Obama. And when you add to that the hordes he has surrounded himself that follow the lead of David Rockefeller in thinking Mao a murderer of an estimated 70 million people is the best thing since sliced bread. Many of these un-vetted people are self-proclaimed Marxist communist, hence 2 Timothy 4:3 for the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears. 2 Thessalonians 2:11 and for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 this know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. I think it is fair to say most people although free to do so will not study to show themselves approved, thus the scripture we shall all give an account of ourselves to the Lord [Romans 14:12] not by what we say but what we do. I will say, folks shouldn’t get mad at Obama for imposing his communist ideology on us but should look in the mirror with disgust for voting the man into office in the first place. A large number of churches in America are made up of men that; Isaiah 56:10-12 His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter. Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and tomorrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant. And the majority of these are not called of God to be his ministers but are; John 10:10-13 the thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. The hireling fleeth, because he is a hireling, and careth not for the sheep. If “we the people” don’t take serious our personal responsibility to research and study then we will get what we deserve, which is what we are witnessing now. This is akin to what a couple of our great founding fathers warned us. Thomas Jefferson said, “If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, it expects what never was and never will be.” Ben Franklin “I think vital religion has always suffered when orthodoxy is more regarded than virtue. The scriptures assure me that at the last day we shall not be examined on what we thought but what we did.” No the only way out of this mess we have put ourselves in is to humble ourselves and admit the error of our way and do as he admonished us. 2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. We have met the enemy and he is “us”.
