Hello fellow conservatives and tea party activists! Amy Kremer here – I’m the Grassroots & Coalitions Director for the Tea Party Express.
I wanted to let you know that the news media has been writing about all of you - and the great work you did in helping secure a great victory for Scott Brown in the Special Election for U.S. Senate in Massachusetts.
We here at the Tea Party Express – thanks solely to your support – spent approximately $350,000 in an Independent Expenditure campaign supporting Scott Brown. We bought TV ads all across Massachusetts and then also ran them nationwide. We sent out over 10 million emails supporting Brown. We organized phone banks in support of Brown and had tens of thousands of supporters calling voters in the final days of the election to urge their support for Scott Brown.
We also made the maximum allowed contribution to Brown’s campaign – and also passed along in excess of $10,000 to Brown’s campaign directly – checks you asked us to pass on to the campaign directly.
We here at the Tea Party Express are so proud of all of you for the hard work and support you have given to the tea party movement. We’ve had so many successes and so many victories along the way. Now it’s my pleasure to show you the impact your contributions and grass roots volunteer efforts made in the Scott Brown race – and how the media took notice of your efforts. Please know that beyond the Tea Party Express there were many other groups who also pitched in to help make victory possible. This was a group effort and it shows the power of this movement when we all work together – no matter how many people might try and divide us or turn us against each other within this movement.
