Will we be one of those people?

No night or surprise searches, Villagers are to be warned prior to searches, Afghan National Army, or ANA, or Afghan National Police, or ANP, must accompany U.S. units on searches, U.S. soldiers may not fire at insurgents unless they are preparing to fire first, U.S. forces cannot engage insurgents if civilians are present, Only women can search women, Troops can fire on insurgents if they catch them placing an IED but not if insurgents walk away from where the explosives are, and the use of force against insurgents may be blocked if they lower their guns. Is this a war we are fighting? Does the commander in chief even have a clue how to fight one? These are not little green soldiers you line up on the floor and pull one aside when it gets hit only to return it later when your opponent is not looking. These are real human beings with real families who he has put in harms way with a blindfold, and both hands tied behind their backs.

These new rules in concert with the already ludicrous ones like reading them their rights and others effectively destroy any chance our troops have of winning much less making it home alive. Might I ask why the president hates our troops so much, it cannot be naivety, why all the media can talk about is how brilliant this man is so it has to be utter hatred. No one in their right mind believes you can fight a war like this, not with people who cut off heads on video and then send it out. Our troops are not safe abroad or in the United States as Fort Hood proved, the White House is stalling on any investigation into that travesty and nothing has or will be done to secure the other bases. So I ask you is this the actions of a man who wishes to win a war or the actions of a man who wishes to embarrass our country, kill our troops all the while placating the Muslims.

I suspect the man holds the same views as the Fort Hood shooter Hasan, however he has a problem he can’t just summarily end the war, he must at the very least look as though he is fighting it so he fixes it where we cannot win, where the Muslims have the upper hand and then when enough of our troops have been killed he calls them home. He cannot bear the thought of the United States winning in this war, he cannot bear the thought of the United States trying terrorist in anything but a federal court where everything will be thrown out and they will walk free. Think about it for a few moments, I mean really think about it, has any of his actions regarding the troops, the terrorists made you wonder, made you take a second look? Do his constant speeches to the Muslims make you wonder who he is the president of? There were people who questioned Hasan’s motives too, people who knew something was wrong but never did anything to stop it, will we be one of those people?
