The White House party-crasher resigned his position on the Virginia Tourism Corp. board Monday. The resignation, which Mr. Salahi said in his letter was "due to the extraordinary misinformation resulting in the unfortunate negative and tabloid type media surrounding our attendance at the White House," marks the first real consequence for him and wife Micheala crashing the Nov. 24 state dinner for Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at the White House.
