The Mystery of Obama’s Aunt Continues

J.J. Jackson | December 2, 2009

We all remember Aunt Zeituni right? Sure you do, she is Barack Obama’s aunt who was found to be living in the United States illegally after refusing to leave the country in 2004 after her request for asylum was denied. Well, President Obama is not doing much about his criminal aunt right now as she is still in the United States although trying to keep under the radar. Probably hoping that everyone will forget about her criminal status.

Zeituni Onyango (zay-TUH’-nee awn-YAHN’-goh) told The Associated Press in an exclusive interview that she is troubled that her immigration woes have made her a political liability to her nephew.

Onyango, the half sister of Obama’s late father, said she has exiled herself from the family after attending Obama’s inauguration because she didn’t want to become fodder for his foes. Obama and his family have not reached out to her either, she said.

“Before, we were family. But right now, there is a lot of politics, and me, I am not interested in any politics at all,” said Onyango, whose appeal for asylum from her native Kenya is before an immigration judge in Boston.

I think I hear the world’s smallest violin playing. But there is more. Apparently without a job Obama’s illegal alien aunt is not having any trouble paying rent or for her lawyer:

She refused to discuss how she affords to live now or who is paying for her attorney.

Gee, I can take a wild ass guess on this one. ACORN? Chicagoland friends of Obama? Oh, you know someone with deep pockets linked to the President is picking up the tab even as the White House claims that it is not interfering in the case at all.

Right …. and the check is in the mail for you to pay your mortgage this month too. Signed personally by Obama himself.
