Ready or Not

We Christians realize we have wickedness in high places or imps of Satan running the country both Democrat and Republican and we are very concerned about the direction these evil people are taking the country but we mustn’t allow this to consume us to the point of questioning why God is allowing it to happen. This could actually lead to one losing his soul because the negative thoughts could lead to the destruction of the faith you have/had in God. I am not saying God will not intervene on our behalf but I honestly can’t say he will either as it concerns to what extent. I haven’t received an answer for this as of yet but only know I do see God exposing the work of these evil people and how masterfully he has turned them one against the other by exposing their shame. This same thing I have seen God do to the enemies of Israel numerous times. It is the self/same evil spirit that was behind the enemies of Israel that are confronting the church today and is behind the religion of Islam via Ishmael and Esau. Genesis 16:12 and he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren. This connotes he/it is worldwide. As for the handiwork of God the following I am seeing almost daily now; 1 Corinthians 1:27-28 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; (one example is the global warming emails that blow the lid on the deception of these one world government planners) and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to naught things that are. 1 Corinthians 3:19 for the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. Seeing this gives me hope he is acting on our behalf and hearing our prayers but I am taking a cautious approach to this to be sure I am not reading this to be something that it is not. Since I am aware God’s thoughts are not our thoughts or God’s ways are not our ways I don’t want to misinterpret the true meaning of what God is doing. God is merciful and he could be just letting us know how close the rapture of the church is to becoming a reality. Students of prophecy can see these things that are happening as prophecy that must be fulfilled as concerning the coming together of the one-world government using such tools as the “Climate Change” agenda meeting this week despite the revelations of using data that doesn’t support their claims. The rapture of the church will take place before the anti-Christ is revealed but what we are currently seeing from the U.N. and nations is the beginning of the formation and not the fulfillment of the prophecy. To put you at ease as it is currently organized because of the diversity of culture and nations it will not work but will lead to the necessary establishment of a dictator to accomplish the agenda. They will surely pass resolutions or give lip service but of no binding consequence. Experience has taught me God may be allowing us to see what these evil people are doing for a totally different reason as per this article I am writing. I hope this doesn’t discourage you but I don’t think anyone knows totally the answer to this but again I could be wrong. One thing I am certain of, the believer’s position as Christians is to be ready for whatever happens and that can only be accomplished by devoting more time to sincere fervent prayer and bible study to grow closer to God via sensitivity to the spirit of God or being filled with the Holy Ghost. 2 Timothy 4:2-5 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. And we are to be careful not to; Luke 21:34 and take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. Mark 4:18-19 And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.
Surfeiting means overindulgence, or a bout of overindulgence, in something, especially food or drink; an excessive number or quantity of something, especially so much of it that people become sickened, repelled, or bored by it. The bottom line is this; anything that would separate you from the love of God. Remember he said, 1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. Although the following is speaking about the leadership it also could apply directly or indirectly to us as well because as sheep, “monkey see monkey do”. This is a further defining of drunkeness and surfeiting. Isaiah 56:10-12 His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter. Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and tomorrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant.
Be Honest with yourself in all things
However, this doesn’t mean we are to turn a blind eye to what is happening and it doesn’t mean we are to take an “oh well whatever” approach. Matthew 24:42-44 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. As the scripture above points out we are to stand up for our rights by reproving and rebuking those in authority because we do live in free country and freedom of expression is one the last vestiges we have to fight with. As I have written you before we must keep the right perspective about all things. The three Hebrew children are about as good example I can come up with to nail this down. They refused to bow to the idol and were told they would be thrown into the fiery furnace if they didn’t. They consulted with themselves and said we will not bow and if throwing us in the furnace is our punishment for not doing so, then get after it. The key to this understanding is this; they said they didn’t know whether God would deliver them from the furnace or not but if he didn’t so be it, they were going to remain faithful to God and his righteousness. Of course we know God did deliver them but the point is they were ready for whatever.
Hosea 6:4, 5
“O Ephraim, what shall I do to you? O Judah, what shall I do to you? For your faithfulness is like a morning cloud, and like the early dew it goes away. Therefore I have hewn them by the prophets, I have slain them by the words of My mouth; And your judgments are like light that goes forth.
Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised)
Everyone Born of the Spirit
1 Corinthians 4:2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
Revelation 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
Revelation 3:15-16 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of my mouth.
1 Peter 4:19 wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.
Reward for Enduring Faithfulness
Revelation 17:14 these shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
Conclusion
As a wise old gentleman told me when I was a child concerning when the church will be raptured; one must prepare as if he will go through the whole tribulation and if he don’t so much the better but if he does he won’t be caught unawares. Have faith in God!
