Of Hammers, Nails and Coffins

57% of Americans say that it would be better to NOT pass any health care reform bill this year than the one currently before the Democrat controlled Congress and that President Obama would be sure to sign if he were presented with. So says Rasmussen.

Liberals however are dead set on passing something that will give even more control of a large portion of the American economy to themselves and the federal government. As if they have run the VA, Medicare and Medicaid in a manner that inspires hope right?

As each week passes they fail to make headway on convincing the often naive American public that government control and more socialized medicine is good for them. Again, this failure primarily comes because Americans, who may be naive but are not by enlarge stupid, have seen how poorly the existing socialized medicine plans of the VA, Medicare and Medicaid have performed. Heck, you have doctors left and right refusing to even accept patients sporting either of the later two due to poor reimbursment rates and obscene government red tape and bureaucracy that they do not want to deal with.

Liberals, if they insist on continuing on this path, have doned their hammers, built their own coffins, laid in them and given us the hammers to nail the lids shut. They think they are building a future for themselves but all they are doing is sealing their own fates. Cannot say that I am not happy to see it.
