It wasn’t all that long ago that President Obama smugly gave himself a “B+” for his first year in office. It was a laughable assertion from a man who has trashed the very Constitution of these United States. Sorry libs, that’s the truth. So little that Obama has done is even within his power that it is laughable that he would even claim to give himself such a lofty grade.
So we decided to run our own poll at American Conservative Daily to get a feel for exactly how people thought about Obama’s first year. This, of course, lead to the predictable email assault from the left accusing us of all sorts of things. Here are some of the best which are also so incredibly stupid that they again point out how unthinking liberals really are.

Well Dan, it was the President himself when asked what his grade would be that graded himself FIRST thus making our poll perfectly legitimate as far as I am concerned.

I don’t know where Debbie went to school, but I used to get grades every quarter when I was in high school. A year after his election this is pretty much a quarter into his term so I don’t see the complaint. In college where semesters were half as long as a grade in high school I got mid term grades all the time, again a quarter of the way through the year. So please, spare me the mindless psychobabble. Oh, and as far as Bush is concerned, the problem right now for the United States is unchecked federal spending. President Bush did indeed sign a lot of bills with lots of unconstitutional spending in them, but Congress writes those bills. Oh … and who was a member of Congress who ascribed his name to many of those bills? Why could it have been then Senator Obama? Why yes, I think it was!
Obamatons that wrote to complain about the poll were no doubt upset at the results they were seeing. The votes were certainly NOT in Obama’s favor. In fact, as the dust settled, the overall consensus was that Obama had certainly not earned a “B+” by any stretch of the imagination.

Loading ...59% of respondants gave Obama an F flat out. A further 9% gave him a D-, 8% more gave him a D and 7% more gave him just a D+. Oh SNAP! The next highest ranking was a C- at 5%. While there were obviously some people drunk on Obama’s cult of personality that decided to vote in the poll (13 people did see fit to give him an A+) it is eminantly clear that they are in such a minority that it cannot be ignored.
Averaging up all the votes with a standard grading scale:
A+= 100
A = 95
A = 90
B+ = 89
B = 85
B- = 80
C+ = 79
C = 75
C- = 70
D+ = 69
D = 65
D- = 60
F = 50*
Obama’s AVERAGE score was a 58.75. That is lower than a D- which means he earns an F.
* Picking a number to assign to an F will surely be controversial to some. While the median grade of a range was usually given a result halfway between the – of the higher on the scale and the – of its own kin (example a B is .5 * A- (90) + B- (80) = 85) a score of 50 was assigned to an F instead of 30 which would be half way between 60 and 0. It does not matter in the overall grading letterwise however. And for anyone preparing to complain because I did not offer an F+ or an F- like other gades, I have never seen a teacher grade in this way when I was in school so please, spare me.

Debbie sounds like a White House stooge. Do not know where she was educated, but she needs to apply for a refund, since they apparently did a very poor job educating her! Obama himself started this fray by pompously grading himself! For the record Debbie I would have given Obama a F-, but that grade was not one of the choices! Also Debbie you gave youself away as a hopelessly ignorant liberal when you indicated that it was former President Bush who was at fault. I would gladly take Bush (with all his faults) in preference to the present occupant of the White House who seems more concerned about looking presidential rather than being presidential! This guy is a loser Debbie, but I doubt you have enough sense to see it! Have a good day.
