Barack, Outed and Scorned?

Gene Lalor | December 21, 2009

Pay careful attention to the expressions on the faces of Rahm Emanuel and the Anointed One  lately.

They both look more than a tad scared.

Not only is former Chicago ally, disgraced Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, affectionately known as Blago, Blago?  ready, willing, and able to expose the president and his thuggees but now Obama’s prime idolators, his buddies in the extreme liberal fringe are turning on him like rabid pitbulls.

Moveon.org may have sounded the clarion with its call to its adherents to scuttle Obamacare to which the SEIU obediently complied but Blago was way ahead of them.

A week ago, Governor Blago’s lawyers demanded in federal court to make public “notes, transcripts and reports” of interviews with the Obamas, Emanuel, Valerie Jarrett and SEIU chiefs Thomas Balanoff and Andy Stern.

Blago’s defenders also sought FBI information on First Lady Michelle Obama, America’s Evita, but were advised she had not been interviewed by the Bureau.

Too bad.

Precisely what dirt could be gleaned from the feds’ interviews would be conjectural at this point but given the nature of Chicago and Illinois politics, it should be interesting at the least, emancipating for Blago at the best.

I still expect hapless Rod to be offed before he or his lawyers get too close to the miasmic, seamy truth about our president and his shenanigans in the City Of the Big Shoulders and of bigger corruption.

Only time will tell.

Meanwhile, bringing up Obama’s leftist rear, so to speak, angry liberals/leftists/Democrats are showing terminal disenchantment with their president.

One HuffPo commenter wrote, ”Naïve doesn’t even come close to the president’s miscalculation [on health care], but that’s what happens when you stand too long looking into the reflecting pool.”

The president’s narcissism is news, Huffpo?  Is Barack Obama the Messiah?

Another of the disenchanted wrote, “The failure is Obama’s and no one else’s to own, even if he’ll try to massage the message, or slink away from it, somehow.”

This president is a master slinker.

Yet a third defector moaned, “Barack Obama pulled a bait-and-switch on us.  If it were any other politician, we wouldn’t be surprised.  Maybe it’s our fault, for thinking he was different:” http://bit.ly/5ThAjl

It was indeed all of America’s fault for thinking Obama was any different.  The only difference is that Obama has even less integrity than most pols.

Such allegations, that Obama has his head so far extended into his rear end that he can’t smell reality, that he was the modern Narcissus, Narcissus  a charlatan, were previously the province of us radicals in Hillary’s vast right right conspiracy.

It’s nice to see that some of the left wing has finally caught on to him.

The lefties are most incensed over America’s Nobel Peace Prize winner’s decision under duress to send 30,000 more troops to Afghanistan, even with Obama’s exit strategy to retreat under fire in 18 months.

Advising the Taliban and al Qaeda that they win, we lose if by July 2011 we haven’t wiped them out is tantamount to FDR telling Hitler and Tojo in 1941 that we will give it a shot but if we can’t beat you by mid-1943, you can have Asia and Europe.  We’ll just retreat in a national demonstration of war-interruptus.

There’s little that could possibly salve Blago’s insistence on Obamians spilling their guts over the corrupt Chicago involvement in Barack’s election and even less that could make his supporters happy, short of an ignominious surrender in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Our surrender as the world’s pre-eminent defender of peace through strength would only seal Obama’s fate and chisel in stone his legacy as the worst president since Zachary Taylor.

Speak for yourself. I and millions of Americans saw through this empty suit from the beginning.

Robert, you need to read more of Gene’s columns before you start blaming him for anything. The “speak for yourself” comment is just completely an inaccurate representation of any opinion he has ever espoused that I can find.
