Terrible Terror, Terrible Terrorist: Part Two
Gene Lalor | November 10, 2009
Amid new allegations that the Obama administration is withholding “critical information” concerning the murders at Fort Hood, ranking Republican Pete Hoekstra is demanding the CIA and the FBI release full details on what he calls “a terrorism attack” at our military facility in Texas.
Why a congressman would have to insist the government inform the governed of such information is beyond me. It smacks of Whitewater–and whitewash: http://bit.ly/3W73Fk.
However, there’s much more about those murders.
Todd Huston on AmericanConservative.com outed something the Obama administration would very much like to keep under wraps, the connection between the alleged murderer, Major Nidal Malik Hasan, and the Obamians.
Handwriting on a wall is one thing, often equivalent to scrawled grafitti. Messages chiseled into a wall by a dedicated terrorist are something else again.
According to an unconfirmed report, the accused Fort Hood Muslim murderer, Hasan, was a member of a “transition project.”
During the 2008 George Washington University Homeland Security Institute (HSPI), a “think and do tank” established to advise the new president and to grease Obama’s “transitioning” into his job, Hasan was a very active participant: http://bit.ly/3iW5tl.
Is it any wonder Obama is very interested in squelching that report?
The plot thickens.
ABCNews has reported that Hasan may have been attempting to contact al-Qaeda, maybe to verify a recipe for baba ghanouj but more likely for a recipe for killing Americans.
Re-adopting the Clinton approach to attacks in and on our homeland, a teatless- wonder CIA spokesman contended, “This is a law enforcement investigation–not the CIA—have the lead:” http://bit.ly/1vaG5P.
If competent, domestic law enforcers, instead of PC-driven federal functionaries, had been given “the lead” after 9/11, we might be further along the way of eradicating terrorist attacks.
As it is, we’re virtually back at square one, at the mindset as of September 10th, 2001.
Would that our national security were so secure.
Like any normal people, Americans generally revel in the status quo, the average, the norm, the unthreatening.
We tend to dismiss such reports as Brit spies preventing another 9/11 in NYC by intercepting e-mails and exposing the innocent-faced Arab terrorist Najibulah Zazi as a sadistic Islamist nutcase when he is as twisted as Muhammed Atta.
At the risk of offending more delicate readers, if this acquaintance with the facts of terrorist-political life under President Barack Hussein Obama is problematic, just wait until Part Three.
