A Case for term limits either by decree or common sense voting

There is not a one of us that don’t realize our elected overall have stopped listening to “we the people” and have given themselves or their ear to those called “special interest” witness the Tea Parties, 9/12 project, over 51/2 million pink slip campaign, marches on Washington, etc. Thomas Jefferson had the experience and wisdom to understand “Experience hath shown, that even under the best forms (of government) those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny”

The single most corrupt feature of our government today is the powerful persuasion of the leadership of either party. When a new representative goes to Washington with the best of intentions to represent the interest of their constituents back home in their districts they learn quickly to either obey the leaders of the party, which includes the Speaker of the House, Majority leader and Chairmen of the various committees. If they refuse they are told they will not be allowed to introduce legislation meaning it will die in committee, they will be defeated come next election cycle by people the leadership put up to run against them and furnish with campaign money that special interest will furnish, hence the reason fascism has overtaken America. Fascism is any movement, ideology, or attitude that favors dictatorial government, centralized control of private enterprise, repression of all opposition, and extreme nationalism. Totalitarianism, despotism, dictatorship, oppression, tyranny are all words that describe “fascism”, with democracy being the exact opposite. Can anyone deny this is what we are witnessing from our government today? The answer to help preserve our form of government is not to allow any elected official to serve over two terms and forbid special interest money from going into the coffers of the elected in any shape, form or fashion. This is the original design of the founding fathers and why George Washington the father of our country would not be persuaded to keep serving. Because of these career politicians that we the people have allowed we have reached the point that we are forced to heed these words also from Thomas Jefferson. “A little rebellion now and then… is a medicine necessary for the sound health of government” and the following is why we must.

Deceptive Democrat Oppression

The method being applied to cram this dictatorial healthcare bill and soon the cap and trade through is called the “Nuclear Option”. Saturday night 11/21/09 at 8:00 p.m. a vote is scheduled in the senate for a vote to proceed with the healthcare bill to the floor. Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House and House committee chairmen charged with the healthcare initiative have colluded with Harry Reid, the Senate Democratic Majority Leader and senate committee men charged with the bill to allow the Stupak (republican) amendment banning funding for abortions to pass in the House of Representatives. The deception comes about in this manner. Once the senate version is voted and passes to proceed to the floor and if it is passed the bill then goes to the House and Senate Conference Committee and the abortion amendment gets put back into the bill. It is at this time when the abortion or any other amendment they want to add is done regardless of any agreed to amendments on the floor of the House and Senate. It takes 60 votes in the senate to approve going to the senate floor with the bill for debate and amendments and only a simple majority in the House. As it currently stands in the Senate only 10 hours of debate is going to be allowed meaning the Democrats are not going to allow a bill that will affect over 1/6 of the economy and will establish the dictatorial goal of Obama and the Democrats a fair hearing. The Republicans and Democrats on the fence are not going to have the needed time to read and study the contents of the humongous bill that would afford intelligent debate or add amendments. The senate bill and the house bill are each about 2,000 pages. Once the agreement has been reached in House and Senate Conference it goes back to the Senate for a vote and this time with the “nuclear option” it takes only 51 votes to make it law. This is the deception because they can agree to anything to get it to the House/Senate Conference where the actual law is written in its final form according to the desires of the Democrats who have ultimate control of both houses and then instead of a 60 vote need for passage in the Senate it takes only 51. Of course we know that the “communist” Barak Hussein Obama running the White House is going to sign it into law as part of his plan to establish a dictatorship in America as per communist Sal Alinsky’s book “Rules for Radicals”. The Democrats have a huge majority in the senate with some left-leaning Republicans such as Olympia Snow, Richard Lugar (Law of the Sea Treaty sponsor), Kay Hutchinson (steering committee member of Bilderberger Group, a one world government consortium) and Susan Collins so expect the bill to become law very soon. This will happen despite the overwhelming opposition from “we the people”. If you think I am being rather harsh calling Obama a communist, before you declare me a conspiratory nutcase take the time to look up the words, communist, Marxist and Socialist compare and see what you come up with. I am only calling a “spade a spade”. Consider his policies and the people he has surrounded himself with, then look in the mirror for a moment with honest objectivity and admit it, we have a communist in the White House. You don’t have to depend on the yellow-bellied Fox News, MSNBC, CNN, NBC, PBS or CBS to sway your thoughts on this just do as I request and you will see it this for yourself. You don’t have to depend on Sarah Palin who is too cowardly to admit it although she knows it is true or Glenn Beck who also won’t come out and say it but hints all around it. This goes for Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity also. I’m asking you to stand up for yourself, do as the bible tells you to and prove all things. Put your personal security behind you, sell out to freedom and realize we are in the fight of our lives for our freedoms in America and please consider the future of your children and grandchildren. I’m pretty sure the day of reckoning is coming for me and they don’t like the message I am sending out to over 14,000 websites. If I suddenly disappear to one of these “detention camps” they have created to house opponents of their plan to establish a dictatorship and no longer have the ability to inform the populace keep up the fight for our freedoms. Let “live free or die” become what drives you and cling to these words of wisdom. Ben Franklin “I think vital religion has always suffered when orthodoxy is more regarded than virtue. The scriptures assure me that at the last day we shall not be examined on what we thought but what we did.” Thomas Jefferson imparted a bit of wisdom to us when he said, “When the government fears the people, there is liberty, but when the people fear the government there is tyranny. If a nation values anything more than its freedom, it will lose it says William Somerset Maughm. Furthermore, if its comfort or money that it values more, it will lose that too. In other words, your job and financial security should be the least of your concern at this juncture because you are going to lost that anyway but your freedom, which will insure you are able to maintain a job and financial security should be of the utmost importance to you.

Be Not Deceived

Know this, in case you think for one minute you are saving yourself from scrutiny from the thugs in Washington because it will only be a temporary reprieve. Homeland Security has already defined the Christian, opponent of gay marriage and abortion as one of the greatest threats to their goal of establishing America as a communist nation. Please understand one of the first goals of tyranny is to create fear in the population, a goal already accomplished through political correctness doctrine; fear so paralyzing that the public will accept any measure to allay it. Make the threat onerous enough and the people will relinquish everything. The government is always presenting us with a crisis, whether it is health care, terrorism, crime, environmental or whatever they dream up. We the people are left with two choices, be consumed with the crisis or let the government solve the threat of the day by limiting, constraining, or removing freedoms. Is this not where we are as a country and is it not a people gripped with fear of reprisal from its own government. If you have lived long enough to appreciate what freedom means and desire your children/grandchildren be afforded the same then Patrick Henry’s proclamation of “Give me liberty or give me death should be your deepest held feelings.

Note of Interest: There are some Democrats that are considered on the fence such as the senators from Nebraska, Louisiana and Arkansas that can stand pat and not vote for the bill to become law knowing there are enough votes for it pass since it only takes 51 votes and they have a 60 senator advantage as it is. To sweeten the situation it has been learned stimulus money is being thrown around to these senators to get their vote as an insurance option of passage of the bill. Senator Landeau of Louisiana is being promised $100,000,000 stimulus money. There are two reasons for this as I see it. One, to get her vote for the healthcare and two, Louisiana has shifted to the right over the past several years and the Democrats intend bring it back under their control. Another note of interest that is just now breaking is the fact stimulus money that is supposed to be used to grow jobs is being used to pay off supporters and put aside to give the Democrats a huge monetary advantage for the 2010 election. There is only one way “we the people” can defeat this corruption and that is to fire every incumbent in Washington to send a powerful message that “we the people” fully understand our responsibility to each other and the government. It is not the function of our government to keep the citizen from falling into error; it is the function of the citizen to keep the government from falling into error.” We understand, “Patriotism means to stand by the country; it does not mean to stand by the president or any other public official save exactly to the degree in which he himself stands by the country. It is patriotic to support him insofar as he efficiently serves the country. It is unpatriotic not to oppose him to the exact extent that by inefficiency or otherwise he fails in his duty to stand by the country.” “We the People know we are the rightful master of both congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution, but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution.”

No other time since I started writing to try and keep my friends and fellow Americans informed have I done so with such a heavy heart of compassion. Although I know it is a fact what we are all dealing with, I still have to battle the reality of the situation a little. I reckon it is because I have not known any other way of life but having the freedom to be anything I want.

We are at the crossroads as far as our freedom loving republic is concerned so I ask all to pray for God to stop the oppression and restore our land but first heed 2nd Chronicles 7:14.
