Reality Check

Reality Check

Come on everyone let’s have a reality check for a moment and set aside emotions when we look at things! I am referring to this so called Health Care Bill that is up for vote in Congress where it allows for the Government to take over control of 1/6th of the economy away from the private sector and put it in the hands of Bureaucrats that never run anything efficient. When was the last time that you have seen the government run anything efficient? Do they run the Dmv or Road work projects efficient? Have they ever come in on budget or under Budget with anything they have their hands in?

Let’s look at a small example here and examine the whole distribution of the Swine Flu vaccinations where they do not have enough doses to go around by the time that the Flu will run its course but that 10% of doses have been promised to the World Health Organization already despite the fact that the government will not be able to provide for its own citizenry. Let us look the detainees will receive doses before the vast majority of the citizens of this country will, and now we want to hand over our independence to the government completely to control all aspects of health care are we just plain idiots?

Yes Health Care costs are enormous and it is a big burden on all of our pocketbooks but are you willing to give up your privacy to the government just so that a very few will be actualy covered under this massive spending Bill that they have proposed? Are you willing to give up that animosity and personal freedom that you now have to government bureaucrats that will have all personal information in regards to your health and will be able to determine if you are eligible for a procedure or not?

Do you really think that the middle class will not be tapped to fund this, or is it in your mind that only the rich will have to pay for it? If the latter is your determination to support this you really need to look at the fact that they have already lowered what is considered rich in this country when it comes to raising taxes, and you really need to look at the fact that this bill puts and additional burden on our children and grandchildren to try to fund this fiasco that is on the way that has not worked efficiently in any other country worldwide.

It is time to put aside the emotions and truly examine what they have hidden in this bill… Oh ya that is impossible to do because it is 1900 pages long and the reason that is the case is so that you and I the common person will never take a moment to examine just what’s in it, and the freedoms that you and I will have to give up to insure the very few that will actualy benefit from it. No the reality check that needs to take place is that with all the hidden legislation within you and I are giving up the freedom of animosity to the government and in doing so we will be giving up one more bit of our freedoms.

Please answer me this where in the Constitution does it give the right to the government to require that you purchase something with the threat of fines if you do not? Where in recorded history have you seen a requirement coming from the federal government that you do so? Even during World War II war Bonds were not a mandatory purchase so think about that for a moment…. This is starting to become more Orwellian by the moment.
