Pataki endorses Hoffman for N.Y. seat

NEW YORK | Former New York Gov. George Pataki on Thursday endorsed Doug Hoffman, the conservative candidate for the special congressional election to a seat in upstate New York next month. Mr. Pataki announced his support for Mr. Hoffman at a Conservative Party fundraiser at the New York Athletic Club. Mr. Pataki said he has a farm in the 23rd congressional district and I know that district inside and out.
