Limbaugh Not Worthy But Obama Sycophant Loony Rooney A-Ok!

J.J. Jackson | October 15, 2009

We have learned a lot about the NFL these past few hours and days. There are lots of rumors as to why Rush Limbaugh is not welcome as an part owner for a team, the St. Louis Rams, that desperately needs one. I have been getting emails from people in the know telling me about player’s union hardball tactics and high level officials in the NFL front offices who personally say this is wrong to do to Limbaugh but are unwilling to stand up and say anything publicly. To sum it all up the NFL is run by kowtowing jellyfish who are easily bullied.

But we have learned something else too. While Rush Limbaugh is apparently not welcome, Dan Rooney – owner of the Pittsburgh Steelers, who has his head so far up President Obama’s rear end that he can tell what the President had for lunch is. Dan Rooney, by many accounts is the black sheep of the Rooney family when it comes to political persuations. But even as he has gushed for Obama since before the election it is clear that his sort of adoration of the President is welcome while anyone that stands up to him had better watch their step.

There is no other way to look at it because every argument against Limbaugh, from the out of context McNabb quote (approved by ESPN before the show on which it was made) to the quotes about slavery and Dr. King’s assassin are down right lies. Being down right lies the only thing it can come down to is the fact that Limbaugh is just not on the correct side of the political spectrum. The only way I will change my tune on this is when the NFL demands that Dan Rooney step down from his possition so that he can take a perminent job where his lips will be plastered firmly to Obama’s ass.
