It is time to stop this madness before it goes any further.

As if the bid to take over our lives by the Obama administration has not been bad enough with the healthcare legislation looming large in the foreground we come to you with yet another big government takeover that from what we can tell has largely been flying under the radar. CWRA S.787 A bill to amend the Federal Water Pollution Control Act to clarify the jurisdiction of the United States over waters of the United States. By removing the word “navigable” from the definition, the CWRA would expand federal regulatory control to unprecedented levels–essentially putting stock tanks, drainage ditches, any puddle or water feature found on family farms and ranches–potentially even ground water–under the regulatory strong-arm of the federal government. Nothing in this bill gives the land owner any protection from federal regulators, some would say that this is only a farming problem but they would be wrong.
In their customary way since they took control of the White House and both houses they are seeking even more control and doing so under the auspices of pollution control when it is nothing more than a power hungry land grab. This bill if passed in current form gives them the right to nationalize every source of water, including the creek that runs through your property, the catfish pond, the mud puddles, and your mineral rights to under ground springs. To date they want control of our electricity, our healthcare and our speech, they already have control over our banks, investments, and cars, and they want control of our children even suggesting that they go to school year round and till dinner time and this is yet one more attempt to take away your property.
I know we are all tired and worn out but we must be vigilant and we must raise our voices in protest yet one more time. We must contact our Governors and find out what their plans are to stop these power grabs; it is past time for our local and state representatives to be heard regarding all of these matters. I am aware several Governors have stood up but we need to have them all, yes, I am aware the government can threaten our federal funds, but if our states do not send the funds to the government they cannot keep them from us and in most cases states are sending in more money than they are getting back. We have no choice at this point if we wish to keep our freedom but to declare our tenth amendment right, that powers not granted to the federal government nor prohibited to the states are reserved to the states or the people. It is time to stop this madness before it goes any further.
