FairTax National Campaign in Full Swing
FairTax.org | September 27, 2009
Online supporters, perhaps you are one of them, have provided more half of the funds raised so far for the launch of our National Campaign for the passage of the FairTax in Congress!
Thank you! And Congratulations.
With just two email appeals in the last ten days, those who receive this FairTax Friday Newsletter, have invested enough so that we are within $68,000 of our goal of $250,000 to begin to reach out to all of the roughly 140,000,000 voters in the U.S.
With the dreadful recession we are in, voters now more than ever are looking for a way to boost our economy, create jobs, cut taxes and maintain vital services. The FairTax offers exactly this: a generation long economic boom when an estimated 11 trillion dollars comes “home” to America from offshore banks and investments and the United States becomes the most attractive economy in the world to launch or expand a business. A study quoted by former Ways and Means Chairman, Bill Archer, and conducted by Princeton University, asked the 500 largest corporations in the world what they thought of the FairTax. Most said that they would either move their headquarters here or establish a major new subsidiary here because of the FairTax!
Of course it helps that the FairTax will end the most complicated, error prone, egregiously unfair and growth inhibiting tax system ever created. Virtually everyone – even the political class and those who “game” the tax system – understands that the IRS, the tax code and the income tax itself is not only unfair but inhibits economic growth, innovation, job creation and consumer confidence.
Now there is the FairTax solution, and you are a big part of it all by continuing to support your FairTax.
Your FairTax organization will drive for victory now. With your continued support we will fight non-stop until we win passage of your FairTax. This is the big one, the one we have all be working toward. Now is the time, you are among the very first who will lead the nation and write a new chapter of American history. You can be so very proud of the part you are playing in the drive to FairTax victory.
Over the next few weeks we will continue to contact those who have not yet invested in this critical drive for FairTax victory. If you have not yet joined your fellow FairTax supporters by investing, please do so now (Link to donation page). We are only asking for one investment per supporter for the launch of your National Campaign to win passage, so once you have invested we will just be sending you updates on our progress…no more pleas for contributions to the National Campaign Launch!
Meanwhile, you will find your Question of the Week below. This one relates to the power of the argument that the FairTax will create a U.S. economic boom. Economic impact analysis shows that the FairTax will:
- Create new jobs by eliminating the major reasons U.S. Companies leave the US such as capital gains taxes and corporate taxes.
- Bring $11 trillion, now in offshore accounts, back to the US to be invested here at home. (Source: Global Policy Forum)
Please give us your views on the power of this issue to voters in all fifty states, as we launch your National Campaign for passage of the FairTax in October.
Last week FairTax will unite all American behind a common cause: doing away with the current, bureaucratic tax system and replacing it with the FairTax.
In last week’s question of the week, we asked:
On a scale from 1 to 10, where 1 means very weak and 10 means extremely powerful, how powerful is the argument that the FairTax will unite all Americans?

We want to hear from you again about the most powerful reasons to support the FairTax. The question for this week is…
On a scale from 1 to 10, where 1 means very weak and 10 means extremely powerful, how powerful is the argument that the FairTax will launch an economic boom by creating new jobs and injecting trillions of dollars into our economy?
