RSSACORN’s Junior High Antics Continue

ACORN has been caught with their pants down; their criminal enterprise collapsing as staffers are caught committing felonies on tape as I have previously discussed. Officials with the organization are trying their damnedest to throw as many of the peons under the bus while trying to look like they had no idea what was going on. This all, of course, in contrast to what former ACORN officials have said over the years – that ACORN knows full well what their staffers are doing.
Now ACORN has gone Junior High with its tactics and is threating action against James O’Keefe and Hanna Giles for exposing how easily ACORN employees aid in the commission of felonies when they posed as pimp and prostitute trying to get a loan for a brothel and help avoiding taxes. Yes, ACORN is attacking the messenger which is typical for leftists caught in the act.
“It is clear that the videos are doctored, edited, and in no way the result of the fabricated story being portrayed by conservative activist ‘filmmaker’ O’Keefe and his partner in crime. And, in fact, a crime it was — our lawyers believe a felony — and we will be taking legal action against Fox and their co-conspirators,” [ACORN chief organizer Bertha Lewis] said.
In truth it was ACORN that committed several criminal acts, some of which are felonies themselves. This attempt to attack O’Keefe and Giles was not unexpected however because, like I said, the left NEVER takes responsibility for its actions. ACORN needs to distract attention but picking on O’Keefe, Giles and even dragging FOX News may not be a wise move. FOX has deep pockets to pay for lawyers and I dare say that ACORN will take many more lumps if they go down this route. But hey, old leftist habits are hard to break. They think this is the 1960′s, the Soviet Union and that they are elites in the socialist hierarchy that can do whatever they want. Of course they are wrong but that will not stop them and just hasten their downfall. That, my friends, is good for America.
