RSSObama Slips, Specter Dips And Obamacare Is R.I.P.

It is bad news if you are a liberal socialist these days. First off, Barack Obama’s approval numbers continue to slip. The latest daily Rasmussen poll shows Obama’s “strongly” approved of rating is down to just 29%, and his total approval rating is down to a new low of 47%.
Rasmussen is also following the Pennsylvania Senate race between presumed Republican nominee Pat Toomey and DemocRAT Arlen Specter. In the latest poll, one that once had Specter easily ahead and then even with Toomey, Specter is so far behind that he is not even going to be within striking distance of Pat Toomey in another month or two if this trend continues. Toomey now leads Specter 48% to 36%. While lots can change between now and next November, the free fall that is Specter’s support is so severe that it is rarely seen in politics.
And lastly, in another Rasmussen poll, support for Obamacare is basically as low as it has ever been for anything. 32% favor the plan and 57% oppose it. Of course Democrats, the socialists that they are, think the plan is a great idea. But the rest of the country out weighs them mightily on this issue making it mostly R.I.P. and D.O.A.
Remember, the liberals moaned about how low President Bush’s approval ratings were when they were in the mid to low 30′s and used that as a wedge to oppose him at every turn. Now their own plans are in the same range but they are still embracing them and finding any reason they can dream up to explain how this reality is not really reality.
