Barack Obama is not used to having his authority questioned. He likes to intimidate and have his words followed like the Gospel of John. So you can imagine how utterly frustrated he has become that some common man like Matt Drudge is taking him to task and beating him over the head every day by just basically presenting the facts of the matter.
Recently Drudge has been posting on his website clips from Barack Obama’s own lips where he clearly states his goal with regards to health care is a universal, single payer, government backed system. Of course President Obama has recently repeatedly denied that this is what he wants. Now he has returned to street agitator mode and sent Linda Douglass, and Obama dupe, out to try and smear Mr. Drudge claiming that he is, “taking sentences and phrases out of context, and they’re cobbling them together to leave a very false impression.” (source)
So Drudge is hitting back by linking to Breitbart.tv where a complete clip of Obama’s comments can be seen in context to prove that Drudge is doing nothing like what the White House slime machine is claiming.

I see no reason why the United States of America, the wealthiest country in the history of the world, spending 14 percent of its Gross National Product on health care cannot provide basic health insurance to everybody. And that’s what Jim is talking about when he says everybody in, nobody out. A single payer health care plan, a universal health care plan. And that’s what I’d like to see. But as all of you know, we may not get there immediately. Because first we have to take back the White House, we have to take back the Senate, and we have to take back the House.”
Oops! No question about what he said there! Another lie by Barack Obama! Just add it to the pile.
Sometimes the truth is just too much for liberals.
