When The Weird Gets Bizarre

J.J. Jackson | July 13, 2009

My thoughts on the whole birth certificate of President Obama thing are pretty well chronicled. To summarize I don’t think the Democrats would have been stupid enough to nominate a Constitutionally ineligible candidate and that the whole reason he just doesn’t end the whole controversy by releasing the document is that there is something contained within it that would make him a liar possibly several times over and a fraud on other fronts. But of course I have been wrong before.

However the whole weird saga just keeps getting more bizarre as the days roll on. Now the Kapi’olani Medical Center for Women and Children has “commented out” a letter supposedly written by President Obama to the facility celebrating it as the place of his birth after questions have arisen about its authenticity and in conjunction with previous reports in the mainstream media that he was born at Queen’s Medical Center.

WorldNetDaily has an exhaustive report on these latest shenanigans.

The Honolulu hospital which for nearly six months proudly declared President Obama was born at its facility and used that claim as a major fund-raising tool is now engaged in an active cover-up, hiding a White House letter announcing his alleged birth there and refusing to confirm such a letter even exists.

The Kapi’olani Medical Center for Women and Children is electronically cloaking what it had touted as a Jan. 24 letter from the president, in which the commander in chief, just four days after his inauguration, supposedly wrote, “As a beneficiary of the excellence of Kapi’olani Medical Center – the place of my birth – I am pleased to add my voice to your chorus of supporters.”

WND was first to question the authenticity of the letter by revealing the image displayed on the hospital’s website was not the image of an actual paper letter, but merely a computer-created likeness of a letter using HTML code, the building blocks of websites.

Of course all this is very strange as by now even if there wasn’t a birth certificate I am sure that someone with Obama’s connections could have had a forgery made at least and tried to pass it off as legit. It just doesn’t make any sense to keep this whole controversy going on this long unless there is something to hide.

But in the meantime, it looks like no one can get their story straight and we head off merrily down the rabbit hole.
