We are winning.

Put off by the fact that he cannot get the votes he needs by the democrats to pass his massive healthcare plan he is going to do yet another infomercial trying to sell it to the public, this be all end all healthcare albatross meant to cost you even more money and add funds to the abortion clinics is going to primetime. Yes that’s right at eight o’clock Eastern time the president will interrupt your already sparse picking for TV shows with his commercial. He really needs to hire a pitch man for the job since to hear them say it this plan does everything but come cheap. It slices, it dices, it grates on your nerves, he has all the usual talking heads going out and touting this thing and I for one am willing to bet they have not even read it, wouldn’t be the first time.
To hear them say it, it will be paradise, no more medical bills, no more waiting to go to the doctor, no more paying the doctor. But they don’t tell you that if you change jobs you cannot change to that companies insurance you will have to get national coverage, if you decide to work for yourself you cannot just buy insurance anywhere you must buy national. If you make any changes, you will have to buy national, what they don’t tell you is hidden deep in this bill is even more funding for abortion, that it is questionable if things like dementia will be covered and that when they have bled the so-called rich dry to pay for this guess who will be stuck with the bill. What they won’t tell you is those insurance companies that only write health insurance policies will have to close and their employees will be in line to find a job, what they won’t tell you is that most companies did not want to carry insurance but were forced to if they had fifty or more employees and they will be cutting that string the minute this bill is signed into law and when that happens you will be forced into the national plan, those people who write those policies will be out of work and our economy will be even worse than it is today.
Another thing they won’t tell you is that your phone calls are working, why would the president plead with us to withhold our judgment, why would he be forced to go on National TV to sell this plan if he knew he had the votes? The fact is it has been shelved because they cannot get the votes needed and he is hoping by going on TV and showing his magnetism we will suddenly say Oh we must have the healthcare plan, I would say we keep calling, and keep calling, his house of cards is falling down and we are the ones pulling the cards out. We all know there is only one reason the president goes on TV to push a bill and that is because he can’t pass it when the people are calling in and demanding it be killed, so keep calling we are almost there, raise a glass to the power of the people and then pick up that phone over and over again we are winning.
