Newt Gingrich has been diagnosed with YSS. YSS – Yellow Spine Syndrome. Yes, Mr. Gingrich has succumbed to the pressure from all the chattering nimnuls in on the left as well as the hang wringing pansies on the center-left within the GOP and taken back his accusations that Sonia Sotomayor is a racist. Gingrich said his words were, “perhaps too strong and direct.”
Yes, but were they wrong? That is the real question. No. These accusations were not wrong.
Racism, and sexism, have clear definitions. Being a racist means having a belief that being of a certain race makes one superior. Being a sexist means having the belief that being of a certain sex makes one superior. So what exactly do you call a woman that bluntly states that because she is a Hispanic woman with certain experiences because of those traits she is superior to a white man? Hmmm?
Ok, stupid could be another word that would properly fit. I’ll give you that one. But it is still a racist and sexist statement as well.
Recognizing this, as usual, I will pick up where Gingrich and others who cannot call a spade a spade falter and fall down. I will not retract my truthful statements about who and what Judge Sonia Sotomayor is. The truth must be adhered to. That truth is that Sotomayor is just another in a long line of liberal racists and another liberal sexists to call the Democratic Party home.
