Monica Conyers Off To Jail

Monica Conyers, wife of House Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers (D-Mich.), and the chairwoman of the Detroit City Council (if you can believe that stupidity) would be more at home in a 3rd world banana republic than in these United States. Of course she is in Detroit so that is about as close as you can get to such here in the civilized world.

We all remember Ms. Conyers right? She’s the loon that threatened to get a gun and shoot Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick during a pension board meeting. Hmmm … on second thought … nuh … I won’t say that she should have carried through. Well, now she is going to be doing time after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit bribery in a sludge-hauling scandal. But according to reports the punishment for this corrupt politician will be only a mere 30-37 months.

After that she will no doubt be out and about and knowing the people of Detroit, probably re-elected to public office because we know that somehow this is all George Bush’s fault.
