I.D Cards for Illegals?

OAKLAND CITY ID CARD PROPOSAL

On Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at 6 p.m., please, please attend the Oakland City Council Meeting to take a stand against I.D. Cards for illegal aliens. The city council will be voting on this. (Oakland City Hall, 1 Frank H. Ogawa Plaza, Oakland, California, 94612)

Just think about how easy it would be to get and I.D. card. A friend explained this to me. Let’s say you’re the illegal and oops, you fall on the sidewalk in Oakland, then you go to the hospital and of course are treated for free. Once you leave the hospital, you now have a bill with your name and some Oakland address that you’ve lived at for at least fifteen days. You are now able to take the hospital bill to City Hall and apply for an I.D. card using the hospital bill as an identifying document.

I think many citizens do not want this to happen, but if we aren’t there expressing ourselves and the large pro illegal immigrant groups are there, we’re going to lose the battle. It’s time to take our country back and I’m hoping to be able to count on each and every one of you to come and take a stand. If you really don’t think you could speak to the council, we would appreciate it if you would still come and support us. You don’t have to live in this community for this to affect you. Your community may be next. Let’s stop it here in Oakland now.

Included below is a link to the Oakland City Council members and I hope many if not all of you will take some time this weekend and send these officials a letter.

With the economy in a crisis, unemployment above eleven percent, when the state is considering stopping welfare payments, with layoffs of our fire, police, and teachers, it is ludicrous to implement spending money on such a program that will cost millions. In fact the majority of Americans are against such programs regardless of all the above.

Think about the security risks this will have on Oakland and yes, surrounding communities. This is nothing more than an open invitation to illegal alien gang members, drug dealers, and criminals. Just think of the business the over burdened hospitals will get and the overcrowded schools. Don’t forget that illegal immigrants drive down wages too. So that good paying job you have now may not pay as much in the future. City services, government programs, and schools will see and influx in program expenditures, so the couple of million now will skyrocket. This will all be paid for by the American taxpayer.
