Specter Admits He Left Because He Wasn’t Going To Win
J.J. Jackson | May 4, 2009
It took old Snarlin’ Arlen a while but he has finally admitted the truth in that his bolt from the GOP was that he was not going to win another term in the Senate if he did.
“Well, I was sorry to disappoint many people. Frankly, I was disappointed that the Republican Party didn’t want me as their candidate,”
But he did not stop there. He went on like a good little minded liberal and accused the Republican Party of being the reason that Jack Kemp died of cancer!
“If we had pursued what President Nixon declared in 1970 as the war on cancer, we would have cured many strains. I think Jack Kemp would be alive today. And that research has saved or prolonged many lives, including mine.”
Apparently Arlen didn’t learn the lessons learned by liberals and uninformed nimrods like Michael J. Fox the last time they tried this. You remember Mr. Fox don’t you? Yes, he made a fool of himself by whoring himself out to the left to cut adds about how great fetal stem cells were and how they could be used to cure his Parkinson’s Disease. The problem of course with that was his claims were all wrong at a time when adult stem cells were making (and still are making) breakthroughs left and right. Then of course we also all recall how the left tried to make their socialist utopia of government funding and universal health care along with stem cells as the way to make Christopher Reeve walk again right?

Edit: Update (because I just thought of this)
Oh, and before I get accused of lying about the Reeve’s line which Mr. Edwards orgasmically proclaimed, here it is:
During a campaign stop in Iowa on Sunday, Edwards marked Reeve’s death by blasting President Bush’s position against using taxpayer dollars to fund new embryonic stem cell research that involves the destruction of human life.
“If we do the work that we can do in this country, the work that we will do when John Kerry is president, people like Christopher Reeve are going to get up out of that wheelchair and walk again,” Edwards told the Iowa audience.
End Edit
======================
It is like the Wellstone Memorial all over again for liberals except this time Arlen has been invited to politicize a death. But here is a clue for Arlen. People die. They will continue to die. It does not matter how much the government gets involved in trying to stop them from dying they will still die. And if you think government health care and research is the answer look at the countries with such plans.
In Canada you have citizens flocking across the border into the US for life saving treatment that they have to wait months for their but can get immediately here. In Cuba you have people fleeing the great health care system Michael Moore tells us they have to come to the United States. In Mexico you have patients sick with the flu wandering from clinic to clinic for days because no one can even diagnose such a simple disease. In Great Britain you have two separate insurance systems with people getting private insurance to cover what the government won’t.
Want me to go on? Or are you quite through with your pathetic ramblings and nonsense?
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Don’t let the door hit you in your pompous ass on the way out!
