Sotomayor huh? Anyone Remember Miguel Estrada?

Liberals are a twitter over the nomination of Sotomayor to be the next justice of the Supreme Court. Yes, the woman who once let slip her racist beliefs by talking about how a Latino woman was better qualified to make decisions than a white man is indeed Barack Obama’s pick. And if that isn’t racism (and also sexism) then I don’t know what is.
Remember racism is defined as the belief that someone has superior abilities based on their race and sexism is the belief that someone is superior based on their sex. Conveniently for Sotomayor, she is in both categories which she sees as superior. Ever notice how liberals set themselves up to be in the group they claim to be best? Remarkable isn’t it?
But let’s roll back the clock here as liberals and their cronies in the media wonder aloud in a clear warning to conservatives and the GOP whether or not anyone will have the nuts to oppose a Latino woman who has about as much qualification to be a judge as Nancy Pelosi has to be Speaker of the House; none. Her judicial opinions are often lacking any sort of relevant substance despite claims from the left that she has a firm grasp on the Constitution and legal precedent. They are, like most opinions by liberals, extremely vacuous and when she doesn’t want to address an issue which conflicts with her own personal little La La Land she just tries to sweep it under the rug and hope it goes away. So let’s roll back the clock to another nominee who also happened to be Hispanic … Miguel Estrada.
Remember Mr. Estrada? Yes, President Bush tried to nominate him to the bench of the United States Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit only to be met with a filibuster by liberal Democrats in the Senate which eventually ended his chances of having such a prestigious honor. Not that I think Estrada was the most qualified candidate available for the job mind you, but he was eminently more qualified than Sotomayor. At least his opinions were more rooted in fact and actual law even if they were at times wrong.
Honestly any conservatives left among the Republicans in the Senate should fight just as hard against Sotomayor as liberals did against Estrada. And every time the liberal lightweights cry racism just remind them of their own sordid past which was based more on how Estrada was a minority who wandered off the liberal plantation than anything else. The opposed him because of his ideology which was a threat to them and their power. But Sotomayor? Well she is firmly implanted in the house, proven her loyalty and is now getting favored treatment for it.
Draw the proper historic parallels from that if you like and come to the realization once again that Democrats (and liberals) have not changed at all over the years. All that has changed is the form of the plantation.
