     I too am concerned about this change in coverage of
presidential events. It is not unprecedented, but it smacks
of what critics have called &#039;Obama in perpetual campaign
mode.&#039; 

     Instead of independent reporters and their camera crews, we 
now have government employees releasing &#039;The Best of Obama&#039;
to the news outlets, who feel forced to run them in their
news broadcasts. I expect and hope the reporters will be
the first to complain that these episodes constitute an arbitrary
&#039;denial of access&#039; and that their employers will not broadcast
&#039;news&#039; not collected by their own staff.
