Rarely do I ever post a poll at American Conservative Daily where the results surprise me. Even with a website that is not closed to the public and allows anyone who visits it to vote, the results still tend to be fairly predictable. The latest poll asked, “On a scale of 1 to 10, how happy are you that Arlen Specter has left the GOP?”
82% rated their glee at 8 or higher. A full 60% of respondents picked 10 (orgasmic) as best describing their opinion on the matter. If you count anything above 7 as being at least pretty happy with the event, 85% of respondents were at least such. If you count 4 to 6 as being essentially indifferent on the matter, 6% fall in that range. If you consider anything at a 3 or less as upset about the move, that accounts for only 8% with 7% actually distraught enough to rate their feelings over the move a 1.

Loading ...The conclusion? Arlen will not be missed among the GOP. But then again, we already knew that.
