How to Say Ku Klux Klan in Spanish? La Raza!

Once again, American patriot and intellectual giant Tom Tancredo has acted boldly and without fear in advocating the truth.

As reported, in part, at Politico, Tancredo said the following:

http://www.politico.com/blogs/glennthrush/0509/Tancredo_La_Raza_is_Latino_KKK.html

“If you belong to an organization called La Raza, in this case … which is from my point of of view any way … nothing more than a … Latino KKK without the hoods or the nooses. If you belong to something like that in a way that’s going to convince me and a lot of other people that it’s got nothing to do with race. Even though the logo of La Raza is “All for the race. Nothing for the rest.” What does that tell you?”

Bueno!

Now that is what you call real transparency. Are you listening, President Obama?

Tancredo’s point is a great one: Given her racist words AND membership in La Raza, Sonia Sotomayor is clearly unfit to serve on the Supreme Court, or any other court for that matter.

Ms. Sotomayor should withdraw her name from consideration or be forced to by President Obama. She should also be disbarred and banned from serving in any capacity in the judiciary at any level.

To allow a known racist to serve as a judge is nearly as bad as being a racist.

America can do better–much better!

Just say no to, “For the race everything, outside the race nothing!”

And just say no, hell no!, Soto must go!

I will offer no opinion but just point out that Tancredo was factually incorrect when he stated that the slogan of the National Council of La Raza is, “All for the race, nothing for the rest”. This is in fact the slogan of an extremist organization called MeChA. This has never been NCLR’s slogan. I hope he didn’t knowingly say this just to slander an organization, he should have checked his facts before going on national television and making such a strong statement.

The name La Raza is racially charged without any further clarification since it means litteraly “the race.” The KKK and Hitler tried similar racial identies and have been rightfully vilified for it. So should La Raza whom apparently thinks identifying themselves by their ethnicity is important.

I want to address this to Tim above. First of all, you are correct that that slogan is for MeChA.

However NCLR has a habit of, despite claiming they do not support MeChA, actually supporting and promoting MeChA. This would seem to be a contradiction to their actual claims.

For example you can look here on the NCLR website where they actually promote the Calexico High School MeChA group.

OOPS! Time for the NCLR to scrub that page and keep claiming they have no association with and do not support MeChA!

What Tancredo should have said to be correct was, “Even though the logo of MeChA, a group La Raza supports and promotes, is “All for the race. Nothing for the rest.” What does that tell you?”
