As Gas Prices Rise Who Will Liberals Blame Now?

Gas prices are starting to climb and everyone is wondering who the liberals will blame now that George W. Bush and Dick Cheney are no longer in the White House. The left wing of America is well represented in both Congress and the Oval Office so of course they and their NIMBY policies with regards to oil, coal and gas production cannot be blamed even thought what we are clearly seeing is a an effect of their everything but these tried and true energy sources policy.

So they need a bogeyman. And they need one fast! Sure, they could still try and blame Bush but what power does he have to manipulate prices without the super secret White House hot line to the oil companies. Perhaps they will claim that he just had a secondary line installed at his Texas ranch and is really still secretly working to make Obama look bad.

But that would be too obvious a conspiracy theory and even liberals sense that the American public won’t fall for that sort of gibberish. So here is the list of their new potential scapegoats:

Lawn Gnomes – Yes, lawn gnomes. Sure they look cute and unassuming but have you ever noticed how many of them there are? They must be up to something big to be amassing such numbers.

The Jabberwocky/Dragon Alliance – You thought that jabberwockies and dragons were myths did you? Well think again! They are really the true power behind the world. Yes, even more powerful than the Bildeburghers!

Rush Limbaugh – Yes, every liberal knows that Rush Limbaugh not only runs the Republican Party, but he also runs the world oil market too!

Pro Lifers – Don’t ask how but somehow by not letting liberals murder babies it is affecting the world’s oil supplies. Hey! I said don’t ask how!

Barack Obama – No, just kidding. Everyone knows the Messiah can do know wrong and shame on you for believing otherwise!

The number 5 – Ever since the number 5 started to plot to take over Sesame Street liberals have been wary that such a step was only the first in its quest for world domination.

The Hummer H1 – Can such a large vehicle really be trusted? I mean really? Something must be up when it needs so much gasoline itself! Perhaps the plot to raise gasoline prices is all so that fewer people will buy the precious commodity and leave more for its insatiable thirst!

    Current liberal Washington has no one but itself to blame for these rising fuel prices. Things will only get worse as summer approaches. Offshore drilling needs to begin immediately.
