Obama Attempting To Rewrite History … Again
J.J. Jackson | April 9, 2009
The left in America thinks it has enough control that it can actually claim that things that happened did not actually happen. In the former Soviet Union, the leaders often rewrote history by literally removing any reference to people and events that they did not want the people to know about. However, at least for the moment, the liberals here in the United States do not actually have the power to erase photographs of embarrassing events.
However that does not mean that the left will not attempt to rewrite history to suit its own goals despite the fact that they do not control the media with an iron first like their Comrades of the failed USSR. Now, if you can believe it, the Obama Administration is attempting to claim that President Obama did not bow to King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia.
Here is the actual picture of the event:

But here is the Politico’s report on the spin:
The White House is denying that the president bowed to King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia at a G-20 meeting in London, a scene that drew criticism on the right and praise from some Arab outlets.
“It wasn’t a bow. He grasped his hand with two hands, and he’s taller than King Abdullah,” said an Obama aide, who spoke on the condition of anonymity.
Now look at the picture again.
Obama is clearly not simply bending down to shake hands with someone who is shorter than he is. Obama’s head is clearly below the King’s and looking at the ground. That, all you liberal nutjobs, is a bow.
Don’t worry though. Once Obama has control of the media I am sure the “official” line will become more widely accepted.
