Dear Representative Gohmert,
I respectfully asked you to start a revolution of sorts in the House of Representatives over HR 1913 the judiciary committee is currently quietly putting together. I realize you are out gunned on this issue but your constituents deserve to know the ramifications of this bill if it becomes law. This sweeping legislation will in effect serve as a vehicle to silence all opposition to whatever the socialist in charge want to do. I know the target of protections is for the homosexuals, cross dressers, everything sexually deviant. This bill if it becomes law in and of itself thwarts the 14th amendment to the constitution that gives equal protection to all classes and/or people suffering violent crimes and will circumvent the 10th amendment states rights, which is exactly what has been happening for the first 90 days of this administration. Proof of which is not allowing states or businesses to return the TARP money. This bill goes way beyond that in that it gives preferred protections or unequal protection to the minority over the majority of the citizens of this country. It overrides the other amendments such as free speech and freedom of religion. To start with we already have laws against violent crime against the citizenry but this law is a backdoor effort for setting an insidious and unscrupulous precedent that will completely change America forever. Add to this the government takeover of the banks and private enterprise and Obama’s national security force (ACORN) (MSM), the current training of over 80,000 military to squash what the Homeland Security director and Attorney General decides as dangerous extremism by what they define as “right-wing extremist” and everything will be in place for a complete takeover of the United States by a dictator. I can only hope you will shout it from the rooftops how dangerous this bill is to the right to the pursuit of life, liberty, happiness and all other things guaranteed in the constitution.
Note: I keep hearing what I consider warm-ups to this legislation from the media saying Obama believes marriage is between a man and a woman but I know and have what is documented of his speech to these groups which proves his determination to have same-sex marriage laws passed.
As you know the government taxes people that smoke as a way to encourage them to quit for their health’s sake but ignores the dangers of homosexual behavior not only to those that engage in this activity but others also via AIDS and STD’s yet nothing is mentioned about this so you might once it becomes inevitable the judiciary committee is going to pass and send to the floor for a full house vote an amendment that would include this sexually deviant behavior on the basis of health concerns. You can be sure if they can find a way to keep this from going to the full house they will so be attentive to this ploy. If you need information about this I can load your wagon with scientifically proven facts concerning the adverse effects of this deviant sexual lifestyle on the person/person’s health. You might consider making a mockery of this bill by proposing a tax on homosexuality as a way to get them to stop for the sake of their health and others around them using the cigarette tax as an example.
Obama uses the term civil unions to lessen the impact but in reality there is no difference. It is as the bible says “a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump” or put another way a first step to the intended goal of total acceptance of what God calls an abomination. As a Christian it is your duty being in a position of power to uphold the righteousness of God as did the early church in the political arena even unto death if necessary. God is in control and you are not where you are by coincidence or by chance but are there because God put you there. This test of your faith could mean everything in your walk with God if you don’t stand up and be counted for the righteousness of God. Many of us are praying for you to have the strength and courage stand up to these wiles of the devil and bring down their strongholds. In other words, you are not alone we are there with you. You are just the one out front leading the charge so as you go so do we. I realize the tremendous responsibility you are charged with and as a brother in Christ this is not meant to be some sort of ultimatum or test of your qualifications but only a brother attempting to help strengthen your resolve. I believe we are at a point where you almost have to become as an evangelist to the rest of America. If ever there was a time in your life you entertained the thought of being a preacher this may very well be your hour. I hope you can see and agree we as a nation are beyond man’s wisdom of being able to save our country or turn this sinking ship around but are in desperate need of God’s help if we are to return to him and his righteousness. I suggest if you haven’t already, find those around you in the House that share your belief concerning morals, humble yourselves in the sight of God and start praying together and encouraging one another. Hebrews 3:13 but exhort one another daily, while it is called today; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. It is a formidable task and you will no doubt come under heavy attack by Satan and his imps in the same body you preside (House) and by some of your own party and from outside interest groups. Prepare yourselves through prayer and supplication to withstand these attacks knowing you are not alone and know that if God be for you who can stand against you. Deuteronomy 32:28-32 for they are a nation void of counsel, neither is there any understanding in them. O that they were wise that they understood this that they would consider their latter end! How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the LORD had shut them up? For their rock is not as our Rock (Christ), even our enemies themselves being judges. For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, and of the fields of Gomorrah: their grapes are grapes of gall, their clusters are bitter. Leviticus 26:8 and five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword (in this case for our time the word of God, which is called a sword). He will turn their folly on them in ways that will befuddle them and eventually cause them to see there is an invisible hand at work here. What I am saying is if you ever doubted the miracle working power of God start believing it. 1 Corinthians 1:26-31 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence. But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. I also ask that the word “moral” becomes the theme of your speech concerning this issue. Patrick Henry recognized this same kind of arrogance and deceit in the early formation of our great country. “Is life so dear or peace so sweet as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery?
