RSSPoll Results: People Overwhelmingly Disagree With Congress Signing Bills They Don’t Read

Visitors to American Conservative Daily were asked simply, “Do you agree or disagree with members of Congress voting on the “Stimulus Bill” without even reading it?” The sentiment was not even close. With Congress pushing through large, pork laden bills the citizens are quit miffed to say the least and completely disagree with Congress.

- Disagree, they are irresponsible! (87%, 598 Votes)
- What do you mean they did not read it? They had 12 hours! Who can't read 1,000 pages in 12 hours??? (9%, 64 Votes)
- Agree, something had to be done and that means signing things you have not read. (4%, 28 Votes)

Loading ...87% of the nearly 700 respondents answer that they disagreed with Congress and that their actions were irresponsible. 9% mocked Congress by answering and wondering how is it possible that these wizards of smart could not read 1,000 pages of bills (and research all referred and referenced bills) in 12 hours. Only 4% agreed with Congress answering, “Agree, something had to be done and that means signing things you have not read.”
I think those 4% are the same idiots that are now complaining about “predatory lending” as their excuses for not being able to pay for loans that they should have been smart enough to not have taken.
