No, while your grandfather’s democrat was indeed a socialist, they were at least half hearted one. Obama on the other hand is hard core left. We’re not just talking about anti business and anti independent labor here. We are talking anti-liberty of any kind. You name it, he’s it. Anti life – check. Anti private contract – check. Anti free markets -check.
And do not think that the markets do not recognize that last one either:
Bloomberg reports that since Inauguration Day, the Dow has fallen 20 percent, leading at least one investor to dub this the “Obama bear market.” The Dow has also dropped 31 percent since Election Day.
Despite a string of government bailout offers and Obama’s advice earlier this week that Americans should be buying stock while shares are low, the Dow has continued to freefall.
Bloomberg reported that Obama is at risk of breaking a historical trend — in which the Dow soars an average of close to 10 percent in the first year after a Democrat wins the presidency.
Well duh! Like I said, he’s not your grandfather’s Democrat! He’s more like your Uncle Joe’s sort of Democrat. And if you don’t know who “Uncle Joe” is, that would be the pet name liberals had for Joe Stalin. A man they loved.
