Winning Friends with Iraqi People to Secure Peace

Our Troops Have Done a Great Job in Iraq
They Deserve A Treat!
America is safer today because our troops have just about wiped out al-Qaida in Iraq. Our military men and women are the best, which is why we can now look to a gradual withdrawal. We have taken three trips to Iraq ourselves and we have seen the gratitude of the Iraqi people – despite what you read in the mainstream media.
Our troops are constantly doing good things for the local communities they work with in Iraq. After fighting al-Qaida and putting down the insurgency, Baghdad and most of Iraq are safer than the streets of Detroit.
But our troops also do a lot to help the Iraqi civilians, and just this week troops in the Iraq Karradah district took clothes, school supplies and other aid to local children and their families.

“More than 400 children gathered outside the Qairwan Elementary School’s courtyard to receive their supplies. Iraqi National Police (NP) officers and Multi-National Division—Baghdad Soldiers handed students backpacks, notebooks, pencil sets and crayons. Most of the supplies were donated by several organizations from the U.S., as well as family members of deployed troops”
While our troops are doing their job in Iraq, we have to do our job in the United States by supporting these heroic men and women of the military. There is no better way to show your appreciation for their hard work than by sending them a care package of goodies included with YOUR warm words of support, which we will happily put inside the package.
deserve a little something for themselves?

Send our troops a care package from
a grateful American back home!
These care packages are filled with all sorts of goodies and other items that are hard to come by in field outposts in Iraq. Each care package includes a mix of different items including premium roasted coffee from our Cornerstone Coffee. We also send beef jerky, hot cocoa, ready to mix Gatorade, Oreo cookies, trail mix, Jelly Belly jelly beans, deodorant, Chap Stick, bug repellant, CDs and many other helpful items.
Here is a letter we received that a soldier wrote to us on the anniversary of September 11th describing why it’s so great to receive our care packages.

Your package arrived today. Everyone here appreciates the items that you sent. The Oreo cookies are a big hit here – chocolate that doesn’t melt! And we never have too many jelly beans! Every little thing from home gives our morale a big lift. Today is September 11 and we will be holding a memorial service as well as raising American flags, flying them for individuals. Each flag will be presented to someone at home or kept by a soldier as a flag of freedom flown in the face of the enemy. Thank you so much for your support; you do so much to help us. Take care, we will keep you in our prayers Major Chris Czech

Send a care package for other troops like Maj. Czech in Iraq. While there are a few troops who are already able to come home, for most of our 140,000 troops still in Iraq it will be months or even a year before they are able to see their families again.
