Chris Dodd – Pathetic Waste Of Flesh Award Winner For This Week

Senator Chris Dodd (D) is getting a new award that I am just making up right now. It is called the “Pathetic Waste of Flesh Award” and Mr. Dodd is our first winner.

Why is Mr. Dodd getting this award? Well, to be frank, it is because he is a pathetic waste of flesh! Here is a man that adds an amendment to the 2009 Porktacular which specifically exempts, “contractually obligated bonuses agreed on before Feb. 11, 2009″ from being prohibited to be paid from the cash the government granted and is now complaining that one of his largest campaign contributors in AIG actually used the money to pay “contractually obligated bonuses agreed on before Feb. 11, 2009!”

Now Dodd is out there grandstanding claiming that he had no knowledge that such was going to happen! Yet again I remind you he himself added the amendment that specifically allowed this!

A spokesperson for Senator Dodd said the senator “was completely unaware of these AIG bonuses until he learned of them in the past few days; to suggest that the bonuses affecting AIG had any effect on Senator Dodd’s action is categorically false.”

Bull crap Mr. Dodd; bull crap. You will not get away with this fake outrage and attempt to through your own campaign contributor under the bus for something you expressly made sure that they would be allowed to do! Listen, I know that you could not have possibly read the entire bill in the time given but don’t expect me to believe you didn’t even read your own amendment!

This is why you are a pathetic waste of flesh.
