A few simple instructions

Tom Bowler | March 9, 2009

…for Jim Cramer:  First, with your right hand firmly grip your left ear.  Next, with your left hand get a good grip on your right ear.  Now pull your head out of your ass.  Recently Cramer experienced something of an epiphany, but I don’t think he quite gets it.  In his opinion piece, the RCP headline for which is Left’s Ad Hominem Attacks Aren’t Helpful, Cramer complains,

‘When I somewhat obviously and empirically judged that the populist Obama administration is exacerbating the crisis with its budget and policies, as evidenced by the incredible decline in the averages since his inauguration, I was met immediately with condescension and ridicule rather than constructive debate or even just benign dismissal. I said to myself, “What the heck? Are they really that blind to the Great Wealth Destruction they are causing with their decisions to demonize the bankers, raise taxes for the wealthy, advocate draconian cap-and-trade policies and upend the health care system?’

Of course they’re not blind.  If they were blind they would argue their positions on merit, convinced as only the blind can be that their positions have merit.  Wake up.  There is no merit.  They know it.  Hence the ad hominem attacks.  They don’t have anything else.
