Yes, Obama is so smart! That’s all I keep hearing from liberals and it is basically one of a few vacuous responses they have to anything that I say negative about their Messiah. But how smart is he really? This is a guy that claims he did not know about the racist teachings of a church he supposedly sat in the pews of for two decades. And he also once talked about the 57 states in the United States that he had visited. These are only a couple goofy remarks he has made. But now we have yet another to add to the list.

President Obama’s speech to Congress last night might have emphasized urgency over historical accuracy when he stated, “And I believe the nation that invented the automobile cannot walk away from it.”
Many inventors contributed to the rise of the car in modern-day life. But the U.S. Library of Congress credits German inventor Karl Benz with creating the first true automobile that ran on an internal combustion engine.
Benz came out with his patented car around 1885, or about the same time when fellow Germans Gottlieb Daimler and Wilhelm Maybach produced a four-wheeled automobile with a four-stroke engine. The names of these inventors live on in modern car companies such as Daimler AG and its Mercedes-Benz division.
Ooops. What makes this remark particularly egregious is that it wasn’t an extemporaneous gaffe like so many of his other are. This was in a prepared speech delivered with a teleprompter. Looks like some speech writer will be looking for a new job. After all, the Messiah cannot be made to look like a fool! His words must flow like golden rivers upon the populace and such mistakes cannot be tolerated.
If President Bush would have uttered such a thing he would have been excoriated by the moonbatosphere and the liberal press. Instead, because it was Obama, it is sloughed off. Why? Because everyone knows he is smart. Right? *click click* You do know that he is smart don’t you?
