Gitmo is Humane and Safe
Report Proves What We Already Know,
But Obama Sending AG Holder

U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder is at Guantanamo Bay
A Pentagon report requested by President Barack Obama is already sending shockwaves throughout the White House. The report proves what we have been saying all along — the conditions at the Guantanamo Bay detention center comply fully with the humanitarian requirements of the Geneva conventions.
The positive Gitmo report comes as Obama has bowed to pressure from MAF, pro-troop and 9/11 family victim groups, who have all demanded Obama go himself to Gitmo or send a high- level member of his Administration before following the advice of left-wing groups that demand it be closed. So Obama has sent his Attorney General to visit the American prison that holds some of the most vicious terrorists in the world, including the admitted mastermind of 9/11.
This comes on the heels of a shocking discovery that the Obama Administration is releasing a Gitmo detainee who is nearly certain to repeat crimes against Americans. The mainstream media is doing its best to keep the facts from the American people. Please help us get the facts out by contributing to Move America Forward now so we can keep on this important project and get our television ad on the air:
“We visited Gitmo during the holidays and have warned the president that he is putting Americans at risk by ordering Gitmo closed,” said Catherine Moy, Executive Director of Move America Forward (MAF). “It is satisfying to see that the Pentagon has officially confirmed what we found: that Gitmo is humane and abides by Geneva conventions.”
The announcement of Holder’s visit came after MAF held a press conference in Washington D.C. and unveiled a commercial urging Obama to keep Gitmo open. Families of 9/11 victims and Gold Star mom Debbie Lee , who visited Gitmo with the contingent from Move America Forward, asked President Obama to reconsider his decision to close the state-of-the-art prison.
“We have asked President Obama since his campaign to visit the facility before closing it, so I’m glad he’s finally sending someone,” Lee said. “I hope he goes with an open mind because the truth is that the facility is important to America’s safety and our troops are serving honorably there. Now his own report says so. The only sane thing to do is keep Gitmo open.”
Obama has ordered the prison closed by next year, and he wants Holder to come up with a way to move the prisoners. But the options are limited: Either the terrorists will come to the United States, or they will be returned to other countries where many have returned to the battle field as terrorists. An American teenage girl was recently killed in an attack planned by a freed Gitmo prisoner. The Pentagon estimates that 61 people released from Guantanamo had returned to terrorism.

Two former Gitmo prisoners threatened America in a recent Al Qaeda video
“My son did not give his life while fighting terrorists in Iraq so Obama could bring the terrorists to America,” Lee said. “Gitmo was built for this mission, and closing it would imply that our military men and women have done something wrong. That couldn’t be farther from the truth.”
Move America Forward has also just learned that Obama plans on releasing Binyam Mohamed this week. Mohamed is a current detainee at Guantanamo Bay and he will soon be free to rejoin the fight to kill innocent Americans.

Based on these facts, tell us if you think Obama is making a rational decision or is he jeopardizing American lives?
Mohamed:
• Trained at various Al-Qaida training camps, where he specialized in firearms and explosives
• Was taught by senior Al-Qaida leaders how to falsify documents
• Received money from Al-Qaida leaders to travel to the United States
• Had plans to blow up high-rise apartment buildings in the United States
• Held meetings with Saif al Adel (a top level al Qaida planner and leader) and Khalid Sheikh
Mohammad (Mastermind of 9/11 attacks)
• Attempted to illegally enter the United States on April 4, 2002, but was turned away due to his
forged passport
This is a dangerous outrage, and the media is protecting Obama by keeping this off the news. We have to fight these moves which will harm our safety and national security. Move America Forward will continue fighting to keep Gitmo open and America safe. We suspect that Holder is beholden to his own anti-military ideology, and will come back declaring that the camps should close.
We know he is wrong, but we need to get people the facts to counter the Obama administration’s deceptive messaging. We need your help now to put our commercial on TV stations around the country.
Obama needs to get the message now or Gitmo terrorists will be back to their murderous ways. According to a newspaper source, the report says that “One Pentagon official, speaking anonymously because no one had been authorized to discuss the report publicly, said it showed that the Bush administration created a humane detention camp that has been unfairly characterized by critics. Speaking of the remaining 245 detainees there, this official said the report underscored that if the men are moved, they may ‘go from a humane environment to a less humane environment’.”
Gitmo is more than humane, but more importantly, it’s totally secure.
“There is no excuse now to close the prison – Obama will see the positive Gitmo report, but will he listen to reason?” Moy said. “MAF will keep the pressure on until Obama listens to his own reports and those of people who know the truth about Gitmo as we do.”
MAF has made some headway in encouraging a visit, and the Pentagon report backs us up, but we have a long way to go to counter Eric Holder, keep Gitmo open and keep terrorists out of America.
Please help us send a strong message through our hard-hitting TV ad.
