The Real Message Behind the Inaugural Prayer

Where’s the Beef
The prayers at the inaugural has been getting slammed by both the right and left. Beginning with George W. Bush and now Obama the message is essentially “we all worship the same God don’t we”? Bush said he didn’t believe Jesus was the only way to get into heaven and that all religions worshipped the same God. He later said he didn’t think the scripture of the Holy Bible should be taken in a literal sense. Obama said “We are a nation of Christians and Muslims, Jews and Hindus — and non-believers.” So where’s the beef or is there a message being overlooked; what is the real message here? Many evangelical Christians many of which supported and voted for Obama are now after the fact expressing their concerns over Obama’s support for gay rights, abortion and his weakness on Islamic terrorism. The message of “change” and the “95 percent tax cut”for all Americans is all they needed to hear to throw their support behind this evil man and now they start calling into question his stands on these issues. For me personally it makes me want to slap these so-called Christians in the face and tell them to “just shutup” your getting what you asked for. At the inauguration proper, Saddleback Church pastor Rick Warren gave a Christian prayer, yet the discerning ear found it to be ecumenical by virtue of its inclusion of phrases from all the major religions — Christian, Jewish and Muslim. After publicly approving of having the homosexual Robinson pray, Warren followed his same theme, although it was carefully hidden.
Warren prayed, “The Scripture tells us, ‘Hear, O Israel, the LORD is our God, the LORD is one.’ And you are the compassionate and merciful one.” But, here, Warren mixed the scriptures of the Bible and the Koran — considered a somewhat heretical move by many Jews, Muslims and Christians.
JihadWatch.org’s Robert Spencer, an expert on Islam, writes:
“‘The compassionate, the merciful’ is, of course, a reference to the invocation at the beginning of every chapter of the Qur’an except one … the prayer indicates yet again that there is little general awareness of the reasons why the term ‘Judeo-Christian-Islamic values’ is a misnomer.”All religions do not worship the same god. The first commandment is: “You shall have no other gods before Me” (Exodus 20:3, NKJV). Jesus says in John 14:6, “I am the way and the truth and the life: no man comes to the Father but through me.” The Koran instructs its readers to kill Christians and Jews. Why are Christian religious leaders compromising the word of God? Why are Americans tolerating such apostasy?
Apostasy is the answer! Billy Graham saw what was happening over forty years ago. He warned the nation where they were heading, but nobody paid any attention…

America and Britain are now reaping the whirlwind. They don’t want God in their lives, and they are now throwing His commandments out of the statute books. But the Bible warns us what will happen to the nations that forget God…Psalm 9:17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God. Do not forget God! Do what the wisest man who ever lived said, “Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them; While the sun, or the light, or the moon, or the stars, be not darkened, nor the clouds return after the rain”, Ecclesiastes 12:1-2. Turn away from your sins.
Prophetically speaking, we are in the last days and the bible says before the anti-Christ can be revealed there first must come a falling away. This means a turning away from God and the real church being raptured out. 2 Thessalonians 2:3-12 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
As for Obama and homosexuality, Daniel 11:37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all. As were the days of Sodom and Gomorrah and the days of Noah so shall it be when the Son of man cometh. The result of our turning our backs on God and his righteousness will be, Matthew 11:24 But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee. Jude 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. What we are witnessing is not only the kingdom of the anti-christ being set up but also the the one world government sponsored church of the “False Prophet” or the whore the beast rode upon. I am not saying Obama is the anti-christ but he is no doubt at the very least a type and shadow of things to come.
