I still won’t do it.

Freedom of speech, if you are a citizen of the United States of America it is your right, over and over and over again for the past eight years we heard people on the news and elsewhere tell us that it is our right to question the policies of the president, it is not only our right it is down right patriotic, unless you question President Obama that is. Their favorite group the ACLU told us a million and one times that freedom of speech covers all speech including that we do not like, perchance we need to play those clips for them now. I won’t kid you I did not vote for that man, I do plan on trying to give him a chance but I will not give him or anyone else my right to freedom of speech.

We have been told that we should fall behind the president, we have been told that those who dissent should be silenced because we must all work together for Obama’s world to take shape and we are being told this daily by the supposed unbiased news organizations. Anyone with an opposing view, who has all their teeth, can put two sentences together and can speak with some degree of intelligence against the great one is called out, treated as a pariah as a matter of fact right now on the democratic web site they have a petition up to get people to try and silence Rush Limbaugh, whether you agree with him or not is not the question the question is if they can do that to him what can they do to the rest of us and where in the Constitution does it say the right of free speech will be governed by anyone especially them???

You need to understand just how far reaching our freedom of speech has become, did you know that burning the United States flag is a form of freedom of speech, and the even though terroristic threats are supposed to be illegal, they would be covered under freedom of speech, simply because you have the right to say anything you want. When they start taking away rights, they will not stop with just one and before you know it that inch you gave so that the president could be isolated from bad press will become your right to bear arms because some one somewhere might use one against him, and when they get that, well you have no defense so you have given up all your rights.

If president Obama is in fact the one, the leader we supposedly have been searching for, if he is as they say, all that, why does he need everyone to say nice things about him, why does he need the media to circle the wagons around him and buffer him from anyone or anything that might tarnish his image? Are they building a legacy or trying to save our country? Why is it necessary for everyone to fall in line behind him when he supposedly can do it all on his own? If he is so great then why can’t he do what needs to be done without the media cheerleaders and admonitions from his people for those of us who manage to disagree? If we are supposed to just hand over freedom of speech, the right to bear arms and anything else he might decide he needs someone somewhere will have to explain to me why and I still won’t do it.
