AP Reports Biden Booed At Eagles Game
J.J. Jackson | November 14, 2008
Apparently Philadelphia Eagle’s fans were not among the Philadelphians that voted for Barack Obama based on the reception he received at this last Sunday’s Eagles-Giants game:
The Giants and Eagles played in front of a special guest. Vice President-elect Joe Biden watched the game in a luxury suite with Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie. Biden was booed when he was showed on the video screen.
I’m starting to actually like Eagle’s fans now, which is saying something considering I am from Pittsburgh.
Looks like Obama and Biden have some work to do winning over people that are successful enough to afford to go to NFL games and may not be able to rely on just the poor to which they have promised to moon and stars and sun.

Boos? They were from the North Jersey Giants fans. And a poor job of it too.
(ok, the worst job that NY did all night)
If they were Philly fans, they would have had to turn up the fake cheers on the sound system, like they did when Sarah Palin was booed at the Flyers game.
I was at the game. The boos were quite legitimate and quite loud and definitely directed at Biden.
Trust me, most of the people that can afford tickets to Eagle’s games are not Obama supporters. Now, MAYBE some cheers came from the cheapseats or the ones they give away to people but not from most of the crowd.
